I'm a horrible teammate
I shoulder charged and killed a teammate that had 15 motes. I didn't even mean it or know it was possible i was trying to beat him to the motes on the floor and blasted him over the edge and saw he lost 15 motes, i revived him and he had 0 and he didn't even quit he jumped right back in and started killings ads, good for him and shame on me.

This is why you should always keep an eye on those mote counts above your teammates heads. Someone sitting on a substantial pile of motes? Let them collect and bank ASAP. The longer they are sitting on them, the more likely they are to lose them. Gambits a team game after all.
