Don't waste your money on this crap. This is another attempt for bng to rip us off. We SHOULD NOT have to pay real $ for cosmetics. These should all be attainable through in-game play via bounties, level up Engrams etc. We've already paid enough money buying the game.

They should have just named it Item Mall.

Just lol @ real money micro-transactions in a full price AAA title. It's -blam!-ing sad.

3 RepliesI accidently bought one thinking it was with bright dust FML

18 RepliesEdited by RagedAppleMAN: 11/9/2018 4:50:08 AMI can’t down vote this feedback post enough. Realistically, all of the emotes in the temporal surge were available back in Season 1 and 2. Bungie brought them back for new Forsaken players (and players, like myself, who got all but 1) This in my opinion is far better than never getting them again. How is it a game like Fortnite can charge $10 a skin, but when Bungie does it for a emote, it’s a big deal? I think people feel they are entitled to things, and that’s just not the way the world works 🤷♂️ if you want it, buy it. If you don’t, then just leave it alone and save your breath
-
2 RepliesI got mine for free when they were around the first time, if someone wants to pay for it I dot see the issue it’s not in the loot pool, now if you could by weapons and armour we’d have a problem but that’s never gonna happen. Unless you think buying all your old gear back from the inventory is an issue too
-
4 RepliesBought both emotes. No one is forced too. It's one's own decision to pay for in game cosmetics.
-
3 RepliesAh whoop Dee doo,all these are old Emotes anyhow & if ya dumb enough to pay cash for them then more fool you I say. If ya been playing for long enough you should have them already through leveling up...
-
3 RepliesScam would imply that you are being ripped off while in reality it's cosmetic and they do not affect your gameplay whatsoever.
-
1 ReplyYet $20 Fortnite skins are bought by so many kids

1 ReplyEdited by Draco_Mantis: 11/7/2018 11:38:15 AMWhat are you so mad at. This is litterally their way of saying "hey new guys you can have these old emotes that were popular. But, you can't earn them like the originals. O and they are different colors so everyone can tell if you got the original or the knock off" Bungie is actually respecting your time investment to get the original emotes by saying ya nw people can have them too but they're not the same.
-
By definition it's not a scam, but 10 bucks for an emote sure is a rip off. I expect Destiny Immortal for mobile soon.
-
1 ReplyI think the problem stems from, yes they may only be cosmetics. But this will soon include exotic ships/sparrow/ornaments. I’ve noticed a Change in eververse just this week, previously you could get a random season 1 armor/weapon ornaments every week using bright dust from tess. But not anymore. Having to pay extortionate amounts of money for something someone else got for free is ridiculous to me. Yes they are cosmetics and are optional, but this storefront should not be how they are obtained. People say that the money from this will go towards future content, if FOL and the quest from Amanda is what we are getting for our money then I wouldn’t hold your breath for anything of any artistic merit being created.
-
2 RepliesSeems about right! They spent time developing eververse instead of fixing their game. Seems about right

I completely agree. I tried and never got the sweeping emote through playing. Now they're selling it for $10 and I'm not ok with that. I don't want to put any more real money into this. I only bought Forsaken because the rest of my buddies were and I didn't want to be the only holdout. I am enjoying it now with the fixes, but it should be available for purchase with bright dust just like just about everything else is.
-
18 RepliesI completely agree. They stripped out this content after season 1 only to sell it back to us now. Technically, we already paid for it! At least make them obtainable with bright dust. Making it silver only is suuuper shady. It’s like having something taken away from you, replaced by something you don’t like, then having that thing sold back to you by the person who took it. It is a complete scam.

2 RepliesEdited by X-LoganX: 11/7/2018 3:01:45 PMJust stop it. They were attainable through in-game engrams, as well as real $$, but it was still RNG and some people missed them. Now if they want they can obtain them (albeit different colors). Stop being so entitled to thin that a company can't make money. It's just cosmetic. Stop crying.
-
It's a pathetic attempt at a money grab, nothing more.
-
Only complaint is the cost. $10 for a single emote seems to be quite excessive.
-
2 RepliesMy issue is the price $5 for 1 emote is crazy. When you consider that at one point this stuff was dropping from rank up packages.
-
2 RepliesThey were available in game through engrams at one time. People have been asking for a direct purchase system since Everese was introduced. Almost every game out there has cosmetic microtranactions that can't be earned in game. You have no right to tell people how to spend their money.
-
And? You don't have to buy it y'know.... It's not pay to win. It's cosmetic. Which is what....I don't know....is done in quite a few games? Fortnite, FFXIV, CoD, etc. What exactly are you mad at? You don't even have to buy it! Good lord the entitlement....
-
SMH. Sit in a corner and shut up. They are for people who didn't get them and wish to fill their collection. Not a scam, you aren't forced to buy, it's items for sale.
-
I was never able to get the "Mic Drop" back when it was available through engrams so I grabbed that with the free silver Bungie gave us. So I actually didn't waste any money.
-
wow, just wow. first of all, you WERE able to get these cosmetics through gameplay, but they were seasonal. THIS is the chance to get them again, in case you REALLY wanted them, and missed them. also, you are getting EXACTLY what you paid for, instead of a lootbox. finally, this is how you got emotes ORIGINALLY.
-
2 RepliesIf you look too the exotic emotes are reskins giving players the option to buy the emote they already have in a different color. That's bs.
-
I couldnt care less. Alot of people around here sporting the Whisper ornaments. Dont even see them use the weapon 90% of the time.
