That is only temporary measure that should’ve been done regardless. The problem of Masterwork cores still being part of infusion is the real problem

  • Why is it a problem? They are cheap as -blam!-. You don’t need to infuse every piece of armour/gun you get. As with any game with consumables you use them wisely. Just because you infused “the last dance” to from 434 to 488, then turned around and earned one at 502, doesn’t mean there’s a problem with the game.

  • Oh stfu there is a problem I’m so sick of seeing that weak streamer argument, it really makes you think about what you Infuse wake up. They add other materials fine, only needing glimmer for a duplicate infusion was the only good change. There was nothing wrong with the way the system worked before. Masterwork cores are for Masterworking to bring you favourites stuff to its fullest potential. They only added the to infusion to drain materials and extend play time. There is no good reason they should be in infusion, once you get a powerful weapon or piece of armor that’s it you have you upgraded to your power lv. Infusion is just the process of taking that whatever and putting it into the weapons and armor we like to use. Maybe you should educate yourself before getting down on your hands and knees and supporting and terrible system that no body wanted. Muted!

You hit the nail on the head dude... People don’t want to be wise and careful of what they Infuse. We should have the freedom to Infuse whatever we want, whenever we want, as many times as we want. This commenter is correct, Masterwork Cores do not belong in the Infusion Process. Masterwork Cores should remain exclusively to Masterworking our Weapons and Armor and leveling up our current Masterworked Weapons and Armor. And yes, Masterwork Cores are expensive. The first 4 are cheap, then it get ridiculously expensive. If Bungie wants to keep Masterwork Cores for Infusion? Fine, but get rid of that goddam doubling of the cost after buying one Masterwork Core. Keep the cost at 10 Legendary Shards and leave it at that price.
