Think about it:
-Masterwork Cores for every infusion, catered to those who stockpile
-Last Wish raid completion less than 1% during the first few days, almost all that did are streamers
-second and third Seeds of Light (character progression) currently only available from endgame team activities
Being even semi-casual no longer exists as an option. Bungie wants you to invest a part of your life into Destiny if you really want to have fun, which is ridiculous if you ask me.
And here's the thing, Bungie does listen. Just not to you or anybody else who isn't a popular streamer.
What ever happened to the casual/hardcore balance that was there at the end cycle of D1? And why the hell did it go away? -_-
#playOURway 🙄

Nope it’s definitely still for casuals. Although, unless you’re some kid who refuses to play the game and complain about it instead, it’s probably not for you.
-
You have months before the next dlc and plenty of drops to level even the most casual player to be able to start enjoying end game content.

I would not consider myself a hardcore gamer, I play on average if you spread it out maybe 1hr a day. I’ve managed to get one character up to 541 light. As far as mats I played more over the summer and haven’t spent masterwork cores and stuff on weapons I didn’t use. I currently have like 150 cores just laying around. I just don’t spend harder to earn mats unless I’m sure I like a weapon. Or if it’s really worth it to infuse

There's no issue. Take your time.

Did you watch DeeJ reveal Destiny 2? That game was made for casuals like him, and everyone hated it. Destiny 1 vanilla was great because it was hard, and rewards were worth fighting for.
