I guess being casual is no longer an option, huh?
Think about it:
-Masterwork Cores for every infusion, catered to those who stockpile
-Last Wish raid completion less than 1% during the first few days, almost all that did are streamers
-second and third Seeds of Light (character progression) [i]currently[/i] only available from endgame team activities
Being even semi-casual no longer exists as an option. Bungie wants you to invest a part of your life into Destiny if you really want to have fun, which is ridiculous if you ask me.
And here's the thing, Bungie [i]does[/i] listen. Just not to you or anybody else who isn't a popular streamer.
What ever happened to the casual/hardcore balance that was there at the end cycle of D1? And why the hell did it go away? -_-

Quit wanting to infuse every single piece of gear you have. Work for what you want, don’t work for every single thing in the game

What happened was the summit! Gothalion already claimed on stream that most of the changes are fantastic n were his ideas. He loves it now, the guy who can play 18 hrs a day n get full fireteams in a heartbeat :) They built it for the hardcore people still playing. That's why the annual pass was £30. So they pay for the loss of the players who quit n won't buy forsaken.

They are also going to eventually have an alternate route for your 3rd subclass but atm want people to attempt the raid. (Which isn't that hard) The game is rather enjoyable in its current state. It gives you a reason to want to log in and play.... which last I checked definitely isn't a bad thing. That last super casual rendition of destiny we had was ungodly terrible took a nice 7 month break from the game seeing there was literally nothing to do/ no reason to do anything.

So no raids or anything with any sort of difficulty to obtain? Let's make everything free when yo install the game so zero effort I'd required, would that please you people ? Just join a damn team on lfg n do the raid and grind your materials or don't bother playing at all for God sake🤦♂️

This kind of attitude is what delivered us D2 vanilla.. a empty shell that spammed you to death with meaningless loot and 0 excitement for anything. You can complete the raid once your on the appropriate light level. Just because the raid launched a week ago you dont have to expect to be ready for it on day 1. Blind well is not a end game activity. Especially because you only need to do tier 2 which you can pretty much solo if you are 540+ light. And masterwork cores will be adressed soon enough.

So you want to be causal but finish the raid in the first few days,have bungie give you masterwork cores and give you the 3rd seed as a public event reward.You really need to understand what causal means lol

I’m loving how the game is. If you can’t seriously do the blind well that’s just sad. You literally just have to walk over to the activity and there is a group. If not leave the area and keep trying. The third seed of light will be obtainable through other activities soon.

Nope. Bungie is catering to the small percentage of hardcore players. Sales are made by those with the louder void to convince the majority of people that things are great. And i hate to break it to people but most people who are "hardcore" are just self proclaimed. Yes we are seeing a user spike but its gonna drop off faster than ever. People are praising Forsaken for making it feel like vanilla D1 again, forgetting that D1 pre HoW wasnt really all that great.

2 RepliesIt’s a very typical Bungie overcorrection. D2 Y1 was heavily weighted toward casuals. In response, Y2 is massively weighted toward “hard cores”. Bungie has no idea how to find the middle ground.

4 RepliesHonestly I think the raid is going to become one of the easiest yet. We are very under leveled and the first 4 encounters are already a joke. Riven is simply mechanics and once learned will also be super easy. The whole raid will be easier than leviathan for the majority of players. It will be especially easier than pre mod leviathan.

2nd seed of light really isn't "endgame" as you could literally just enter the well and participate with many, many others. On a low light level.

I'm a casual hobbyist/collector. I'm VERY satisfied with the current state if the game. I only have time to play my hunter right now and I'm fine with that. I play two hours at night and two in the mornings.

Second seed of light is an easy one for casuals, third seed bungo have already said will have other avenues. There is more to do in D2 foresaken than any other cycle of the game for every level.
