Sign here if you had to go through the frustration of killing those invaders!!!
Edit: To clarify a bit, I’m just saying that they need to make the quest steps hard. Not stupidly easy like they did. This is probably the best HC in the game. The quest steps should be hard.
Edit 2: So a lot of people misunderstood, which is my fault. I didn’t word this correctly and I chose not to change it, which is my fault again.
Mainly I’m upset that bungie listened to the whiners and took this quest step (which was already easy) and made it a piece of cake.
Also I finished it in 3 matches on the second day, but that doesn’t change my point
Well, I was causally working through it (Damn Work lol), so I was up to 3 of the 5 kills I needed and then they changed it. So nope, now I have grind to complete it. Wasn't that extremely difficult, I was just more focused at completed bounties etc for 3 characters lol. Oh well, I'll just continue on at my own pace. But I just really wanted to see how it all plays out to get it, more than having the weapon to be honest.

1 ReplyThis quest isn't hard even with invader kills. Why are you so mad?
-
Edited by PR4X1S: 9/21/2018 10:23:29 PMI ain't that great at crucible but yep earned it legit, and funnily enough it only took four gambit games. I used the Crimson and new warlock arc melee to take their over shield down first, it totally rocks in pvp, it helped me get the No More medals emblem, and a 15kd in iron banner today.😁

I was 3 kills away from the 5 intruders I had to take down with a hand cannon... yesterday when I figure out that it changed... I ended with 3% of progress... I can tell I was far way ahead than 3%... so I was half way to that step... yet I got pushed back... no harm taken...

2 RepliesThere should be an ornament for those that got the invader kills. That was no easy task.
-
2 RepliesIt was a ball ache. I'm having more trouble on 75 double kills for redrix. I'm on 44 at time of writing.
-
8 RepliesEdited by Doc-6: 9/21/2018 8:32:43 PMWhat a hypocritical fanbase we have here. NOBODY supported those who earned Redrix and complained about Broadsword. Yet that was a Bungie snub 100x more egregious than this, and now everyone is coming out of the woodwork to complain. How hysterical. EDIT: What does this post even accomplish? Sign if you want others to acknowledge your "skill" in killing 5 whole invaders? You ppl need to get over yourselves.

Yeah it took me 4 or 5 Gambit matches to get my 5 invader kills with hand cannon with my Warlock, and I don't think they should have changed that requirement . . what they should change though is having to get the 25 final blow hand cannon headshots in crucible! It needs an alternate path for ppl who don't do much crucible.

I was up til like 4 in the morning getting it
-
X3 ...

Haven't completed it yet, but I did do the gambit part before the change.

Honestly it never should have had the PvP element imo.

A Non Bungie Employee here, Teabag Specialist... I too did it legit. But I too really don't care.
-
1 Replyyeah i did. was a pain until i got a decent light hand cannon. then took me a couple of games.
-
Does it count if I completed the back in the saddle hand cannon quest?
-
Signed. I even put out a quest guide here to try to help the non-PvP players get theirs. Of course, almost immediately after, the Gambit step changes, lol.
-
It wasn't hard. I don't care, I'm glad more people can get it.
-
18 Replies..25 crits was harder than 5 invaders..
-
5 RepliesDude who cares. I got mine day three after grinding for six hours, and I’m happy that it’s more accessible. It’s a lot of fun to use and is one of the better hand cannons in the game, I think it’s cool that Bungie responded to the complaints.

Edited by Sh4dEeKaT: 9/21/2018 8:17:58 PMQuesting difficulty should be ranged anywhere between: •Easy •Moderate •Hard All depending on: the item, it’s strengths, how viable item is, how soon it is planned to become obsolete(cough solstice armor), it’s purpose. These are some variables I believe that make questing items special & worthy. RNG should essentially never drop anything above rare items.(only for small cap & dismantling purposes) •Lost sectors(mini dungeons or lost treasures) •Strikes (dungeons crawling essentially) Should drop no less than legendaries or small chance of exotic(mythic) level items only. •RAIDS should always be blessed with exotic to mythic level gear. **Grinding quests SHOULD hold prerogative and be more appealing VS grinding slot machine chance RNG drops in the open world. My input is not full proof but I believe it holds some kind of reasonable validation. This is a FPS looter with MMO/RPG features and it should work as so. Yes I veered off topic a little but it should offer incite on how quests are looked at as well as the rest of the in game features. Ps looters involve 100s of weapons not the same reskinned or handful of gear. Edit: I am but a casual gamer at this point in time I log in for a couple hours daily and still disagree with the nerf to sleeper stimulant as well as the AoS quest

1 ReplyEdited by danman71: 9/21/2018 1:39:51 PMI'm glad they fixed it so people will actually play the Gambit objectives instead of hanging back and harming the team trying to farm invader kills. Edit, I already had ACE of Spades the original way.

I find it pretty funny that they changed it.
