Dear Bungie, Please Clarify What "New Raid Content" Means
Hi Bungielicious, please clarify "new raid content" in regards to Osiris DLC announcement. Some in the community think it means new raid, some people think it means an update to an existing raid.
Usually don't make requests like this, but if we can keep this bumped perhaps we can get someone's attention and get this whole thing sorted out.

It will be a revamp of VOG and people in here will lap that c**p up like dogs on bones. It amazes me people keep rebuying and replaying the same content for coming up to 4 years. It’s nuts!

It would really be something neat if the DLC Campaign revolved around having to 'Open' the Raid area by doing missions that condition you for it while providing enough 'Story' to justify the possibility of alternate timelines that have to be 'Taken care of.' [spoiler]Taken jokes notwithstanding of course.[/spoiler]

Typically anything Bungie made would be a blind buy but after the turd this game has been I’m going to hold off. Sad I can’t trust Bungie to create quality products anymore but such is the way of the world. From aspirations of world domination to just plain dominated by everybody else.

13 RepliesShouldn't even have to speculate. Bungies presence on their own forums is embarrassing. Absolutely zero dev involvement. Second hand vague comments from CMs. It's a joke. I honestly don't think Bungies is capable of running a persistent live game. All these issues should be getting hot fixed yesterday. Any other mmo style game that goes 3+ months without addressing concerns will bleed players and never get them back. Something as simple as elaborating on their vague plans allows the community speculation to run rampant.

Is not a new raid, Bungie will "improve" the Leviathan raid with "new content" maybe better rewards a new shader could be, maybe one of the at least 02 missing bosses of this raid and in the next DLC the other missing boss.

Thus not actually releasing a new raid. or 2. Exactly what it says: Adding challenges and challenge loot to the existing raid. There will be no "NEW" raid in this DLC Edit: Thanks for informing me that challenges are out today. There goes my theory... Edit 2: Is Bungie shrewd enough to play this off as no new raid, then during the last live stream, bam, new raid. Edit 3: Could they be doing a POE style of manipulation of the current raid. New "trials" in place of old ones. D2 raid 1 and D2 raid 1.5

I almost guarantee it's not an entirely new raid, just the fact that they called it new raid "content" leads me to believe this. If there were a new raid, then they would've advertised it as a "new raid."

Honestly, i wouldnt have thought this until they recently reskinned a pvp map. But im honestly starting to think we're just gonna get vog recycled with d2 adds. Or it will be just challenge mode launch for leviathan. And yes i will play the shit out of it if so, because im a verified desticle. But ahhh, all these reskins and d1 exotics etc.... No matter what they show these days ive always seen it before in another form. Whats your prediction for this new raid content buddy?
