Dear Bungie, Please Clarify What "New Raid Content" Means
Hi Bungielicious, please clarify "new raid content" in regards to Osiris DLC announcement. Some in the community think it means new raid, some people think it means an update to an existing raid.
Usually don't make requests like this, but if we can keep this bumped perhaps we can get someone's attention and get this whole thing sorted out.

I'm guessing we are going to get a re- "imagining" of the vault of glass. It fits with within the lore. Hence why they are calling it raid "content".

4 RepliesNew raid content is NOT the same as a new raid. This is a multi-million (billion?) dollar company and they choose their words very carefully. If I had to guess it's either some revamping to Leviathan or a VoG remake. Either way don't expect either of our useless twat community managers to come in here and clarify things.

1 ReplyThey were asked to clarify that in some interview today and they still said just "new raid activities". We arent getting a new raid! They wouldnt use this terminology and then reaffirm the same lingo if they were actually adding a raid which is their biggest selling point in dlc. Destiny is over...its never coming back and will never be the same or the game most of us hoped for and were promised! A game that had the greatest potential in gaming of all time has become the greatest let down and missed opportunity in gaming. D2 is pretty but who cares when your just a slightly stronger human. We arent guardians anymore. Guardians were powerful and D2 is far from what we were in D1. We lost our light in the story then got it back but our abilities, movement, exotics and weapons have been severely downgraded in the process. Bungie designed us to be weak in D2 for this illusion of balance when being powerful never broke the game to begin with, so why!? What good is balance whenthere is no fun!? Why cant we be powerful and balanced? NO NEW RAID!! Just 1 more F U!

3 RepliesWith spin foil hat firmly welded to my skull, I’m betting Bungie have done the cop out vex time line continuity disruption and have re painted Vault of glass with the D2 game engine. It fits the sus wording of “new raid content” without being a “confirmed new raid”. Ties in with the trailer of ikora saying something like old and new vex from different timelines flowing through the gate that’s just opened... Only problem I see is that we don’t have Venus as a planet to explore currently and we get mercury as a new planet in the dlc. I can’t see them giving us two new planets. This isn’t warframe....

If there was a new raid, it wouldve said "new raid". -_- 2. Probably something do to with Leviathan raid having an alternate ending or some extra boss/challenge. Zoinks! Mystery solved, gang. confronted with the simple question if "new raid content means a new raid" (eurogamer in paris asked bungie ) bungie douchbaggylious answered: "new raid content".. so thats a NO NEW RAID here.. if you look back what that kind of terminology means, than you can look back to House of wolves where this term was also used for Prison of elders.. who knows maybe they have even been lying straight to the audience and will cover it up later with "deej doesnt know everything crap" but maybe they really put PoE into the game back and call it something else.. (not as if the leviathan raid wasnt too different from the PoE ) =D so folks here it it , no new raid.. just some stuff that they put instead .. cannonfodder.. but : i would not even be mad about this.. if thats a GOOD activity.. like a REAL horde mode where you get an emblem that tells how many waves you survived.. and maybe even changes at certain levels into rare-legendary-exotic emblem.. who knows.. PLUS of course activity specific weapons and armor with special perks that help you in this activity.. who knows.. the last raid was rather lame so i might want them to take more time to come up with something less boring and tedious and REMOVE THAT STUPID REVIVE TOKEN SYSTEM FFS..

11 RepliesYou know, the infinite forest could be this new raid content. Sort of a procedurally generated raid environment with preset bosses and loot. A VoG remake would be badass though.

Edited by Marshxy: 11/1/2017 7:42:30 AMThey would have been better off not mentioning the 'raid content' and letting whatever it is be a surprise inclusion, that way people can only be happy with something they perceive as 'extra'. I mean I don't work in sales and marketing but it seems like a fairly simple way to get rid of a bit of the negativity and would probably have the next DLC be well received. Although that could also backlash with this community as people would then moan if there was nothing 'extra' in the 2nd DLC... Either way, vague explanations of new content is always gonna hype some people up and leave them disappointed.
