Played 1 hour or less of the d2 beta and shut it off.
The PvP just felt awful hope it's just the level at which you are at. The enemies were bullet sponges and the guns felt weak. The grenade was a joke. I m now more worried than hyped for destiny 2. Feel a mass effect andromeda coming on. Have fun with your export bungie.

2 RepliesI feel your pain, man. Almost every crucible game has either been a mercy rule or a 75-30 point or less. They said they want to put out a fun and challenging environment for PvP, but I don't see it at all.

I was already worried when I heard of the weapons load out changes and playing the beta confirmed my concerns. I've cancelled my pre-order and I'm gutted :(

7 RepliesSadly based off of D2 beta gameplay it's looking like a weaker version of the game on every level come September. The positive is that in 1-2 months tops you can own a copy for $10 right out of the previously played bin. Save yourself some money or play something else. D2 beta is very underwhelming. I don't care if it's an old build or not. It's a week ass version of D1. No thanks.

4 RepliesI have played many many hours and at the start was not terribly excited with the changes. now, after playing probably 50+ strikes, literally that is a minimum and probably 150+ pvp matches, I have to say I like it all. could the supers be a bit faster, sure they could, and weapons could be a bit more powerful, and we could get more ammo for power weapons for sure.. all things I feel confident that bungie will change for launch. Remember, Gary took our light, which gave us our abilities. the story that so many complained about being non existant could very well explain the weakness we feel and could very easily be found as we level up, find our supers and progress through the game. Going back to d1 feels very ability oriented, few use the guns available to them and lead with abilities.. that to me is boring. And, while I do not like COD and other fps games, Destiny with its space magic is great. I look forward to the launch and will agonizingly get through the next 6 weeks until launch.

I also played maybe an hour of the beta but still getting the game. I enjoy Destiny and while there are changes to Destiny 2 it won't stop me from playing it. You have to grow with a game, sometimes it takes a step back sometimes it takes a step forward. I'll gladly play the game in its entirety and then base my decision to continue on that, as well as if my buddy plays it. He lives in Virginia and I live in AZ, the only time we get to chat is playing Destiny. Shit, he works 40 hours a week, has a daughter, a life, a girlfriend, much like myself but without the kid so we hop on Destiny and shoot the shit. If it's great then it's great, if not, oh well. Wouldn't be the first time I pissed away $100 on a game that I decided I didn't like.

10 RepliesI didnt see any enemy as a bullet sponge. They died in the same amount of time as in D1 . And most of them died with 1/ 2 shots. I love the sniper range handcannons though.
