The Zen meteor is probably on of the least used weapons in Destiny. "Why?" you may ask. Well, the question really is HOW do you use it effectively. It is a high impact sniper with explosive, which implies a use for boss damage. However, it's exotic perk has you focus on ads. Keep in mind that this is a sniper. Now tell me, when do you snipe ads? Never, as it takes too long and wastes ammo that could be used against high level enemies or a boss. So, this weapon is all over the place. It makes you want to use it for a boss, yet it grips you by the balls and makes you aim at that group of thrall. Bungie, if you changed to three precision shots and make it work like triple tap, this weapon would not only be amazing, but fun. If you changed that, it MIGHT be able to even dethrone the Great and Glorious King Spindle for DPS. I know many might disagree with me, and I respect your opinion. But, let's be real here. For all those who say the ZM is an ad weapon, it is far from it. A sniper is for bosses, and killing dregs is a waste to your damage potential. Also, it would take forever to clear ads with a sniper. This is why we have primaries. Also, I know Zen Meteor is just a weapon to have fun with, but I do wish it could be viable for Raids and Nightfalls. Wouldn't it be fun to use against Vosik or Golgoroth?
