Petition to get Special Ammunition back.
Like and bump this post with an opinion on why removing special ammo was a wrong step toward weapon balancing. I myself would most certainly like to see special ammo back after death in the crucible.

I agree with their decision. How is this detrimental to weapon balancing in any way? They are special weapons and shouldn't be abused by players with hours upon hours of experience, usually non-stop. This changes the flow of the game and should only prove to be a new challenge for PvP, why aren't you excited? Instead you're propagating hatred for a part of the game that's been hated for so long because it's difficult. You have to understand, dude, if something is hard and you don't like that it's hard, that won't, and never will, be a foundation for an argument - nor some stupid "petition."

6 RepliesNo. Just no. Crucible is much better now. Sorry you can't just run around with a shotgun anymore. Sorry you have to actually snipe not twitch snipe and body shot and act like your sniper is a shotgun with range. Wait, actually, I'm not sorry. Get used to the way it works now and learn how to play with the current structure.

With all the crap we still play, watch videos about it, do research and come to the forums. So just relax and try to enjoy as much as you can m8.

1 ReplyI really dislike when they mess with special ammo. I used to be a good sniper because of practice. I cannot practice with no special and I refuse to rely on Ice Breaker. I'm just disappointed at this point. PvP team has no idea what they are doing. I'm trying to finish my last grimoire card (Doubles) and I have never hated Crucible this much. Lightning grenades feel even more ridiculous than ever. The fact that a max armor Titan requires another hand cannon shot if you hit one with a headshot, body, body. Arc Blade feels like it was secret nerfed again. Blink takes away radar so blink confuses the user more than the opponent now. Grenades are even more annoying since you get those more than special now. So many bad decisions.

5 RepliesI purpose a different change because, in reality now there are only a few select weapons which are causing issues to the balance of special weapons. Ice breaker now functions like invective: 4 rounds are placed into the magazine every 30 seconds however to compensate for this special weapon bricks can be picked up ammo is lost on death With the way that special spawns in at 30 seconds in trials this would debunk any issues that cause other alternative options to seem "less effective". Sidearms now loose special ammo on death. (please bear with me on this) Now that people understand where sidearms are useful and at the ranges where they are stronger than other special weapons I feel as though to promote choice and variety within the special slot this change would now be slightly more welcomed. Again I don't feel there is an issue with the balance of damage/ range of sidearms however a tweek to their ammo economy would definitely help the playing field of special ammo in PvP. I feel like these changes may work slightly better... let me know what you think.

All this update did was lower the skill gap. The pace has dropped along with the amount of players using crutches like stickies has gone up. Use a handcannon just to be beat by someone spraying with an auto rifle to the body or to be beat by a sidearm. Also everyone survives a triple rap cause they destroyed the range. Hand cannons don't belong anymore because they don't have a range where they fit in You could try a scout but it does nothing to flinch for snipers so they will tear you down. Try a pulse....Ohhh God how boring that is. This game is 100% trash since this patch. Bungle needs to pull their heads out of there asses.

Hate to burst your bubble, but this petition thing you got going on here isn't going to matter. Bungie will see it and consider the community feedback, but it's not going to result in any meaningful change. Besides, this game will become nearly irrelevant once D2 comes out, so just be patient with that, and hope they learn how to better balance their multiplayer arena.

The sandbox team has made so many terrible decisions and this one was the worst of them all. We started off so powerful and throughout the last 3 years they made us less and less powerful and the gameplay got so much slower, especially with new special ammo change. It takes u out of action, leave u vulnerable to supers and sidearms, and gives a select few regenerative weapons and exotic primary special weapons a huge advantage. 1. Primary weapons damage, range, accuracy, ammo, perks all have been nerfed over n over 2. Abilities nerfed over n over 3. Supers nerfed over n over 4. Special weapons nerfed over n over 5. Lose all special ammo after every death If primary weapons actually felt crisp and were powerful players would use them with confidence. Only a few crispy primary weapons exist and u need a perfect roll. Players just use primary weapons to teamshot or finish u off from Grenade. Almost every game i play I die to a primary weapons only a couple times. I die to supers, sticky grenades, special weapons, and heavy. Omg fusion grenades are the dumbest thing in the game.
