Lol so now we lying in lfg ;)
This week actually is funnier than last week. Falling into pressure of must haves..people are posting I'm experienced. Joined a group wiped for 30 minutes at totems. Asked what's happening 3 of them responded as following..
Me: What happened?
Them:We using shotguns to shoot the thrall that chase us in the bubble.
Me: Can you use a sniper it's easier to shoot boomer than spawns when the brand is going to change.
Them: 5 minute later ...guardian down..wipe guys wipe..
Me: What happened?
Them: We using ghallahorn to shoot the boomer and ... Jumped infront of me. Wipe I blew myself up.
Me: Switches the PS4 off.
Update: I have gone full tilt
Joined a random must have emblem teams who posted fresh run but we were at oryx when we spawned in, we beat it on first try. Ps4 done for this week lol yeah looks like those elite posts are worthwhile after all.

1 ReplyThe only thing I honestly can't stand are raid groups I join and people start being afk for no apparent reason. We're doing a run, one guy just stands around, we die. "I'm back" says the person. And I'm just wondering how he can say "I'm back" but not "I'm going for something." I get it, we all have to do stuff. But please say [i]something[/i] when you leave. I can't stand groups that post but people can't seem to stick around. And I don't mean they lose connection or something. That's fine, it happens. I mean they just stand there during the run or not say anything for 10 or so minutes without a hint that they were leaving.

3 RepliesIt's pretty old news, but I want to tell you a story that happened last week It all began on Templar... The leader of the group (Who was really good) was explaining to some people how to do the challenge mode, then asks if anyone wants to relic, naturally, I try to lock the spot for myself but then this kid jumps in before me and says [i]Im a year 1 veteran, I've done this a million times![/i] I didn't really mind it, and the rest of the fire team didn't so we let him relic, turned out it was a mistake He didn't know how to take down his barrier or slam, *smh*... Later on, after about 5 wipes, I decide to say [i]"Hey, I can run relic, it's the easiest thing for me"[/i]. 3 seconds later he starts complaining how he should be the relic holder and blames the lag on why he can't Super the boss. The leader finally chimes in and let's me be the relic holder. He dies instantly before the damage phase and complains about me. The leader then kicks him, grabs a friend, then finished the raid The end.

[b]EVERYONE ELSE:[/b] "Yup." [b]HOST:[/b] "Cool. Can you explain it to me?" [b]EVERYONE ELSE:[/b] "Uhhhh...wut? You expected us to know, but you didn't bother to find out?" [b]HOST:[/b] "Hey man, I have a life that does not revolve around a video game. Just explain it to me and we will get this done." 2 people left, and me shortly after.

1 ReplyMy friends did this to me and some randoms when we tried to do Kings fall,"You can one hit oryx with your sword." We then kept wiping while trying to do this and eventually figured out how we were supposed to do it but once we pretty much beat oryx everyone jump off the edge to celebrate when we still had to shoot at him to end it. We then wiped and I left.

Yesterday doing kf on titan. Get to warpriest. We never got past the first damage phase because this one guy would always die in mid, or if he got the aura burn through it on average of 10 seconds Left, and got a group that never wiped once

6 RepliesI had a similar experience except when i joined i immediately got my ass chewed out for not having very many raid completions and the requirement was 'experience a must'. Told them to get bent and i have more time in raids then they do in the entire game. QUESTION: Do raid completions not count when you start a raid a 'totems', or 'templar' CPs? I have way more completions then it is showing.

If you wanna get it done quick and don't want to spend 3 hours on a raid then you gotta join the elite groups asking for 50 completions and with specific guns, I also find putting no squeakers adults only seems to go a lot better. Squeakers tend to get easily distracted and end up talking about what God rolls they have or what they use in the crucible which during a raid you just wanna get done is irrelevant or better yet, their mom calling them down for something and they just go afk in the middle of a boss fight -_-

Then we were like 'what, he's 382 and literally has blue gear?' he got kicked Then we were like 'what, he literally had zero raid completions or even attempts for anything?'

2 RepliesEasy test. Works well when you have 4 to 5 people who you know are okay but are grabbing a couple lfg people. Ask if the know it. Ask if they need anything explained (to be fair). If they say "I got this" and seem suspect. Ask them if they know a completely bogus strategy. I asked a kid if he knew how to do back left side of golgoroth where everyone goes into the back cave (where ads spawn - very bad idea and you can't even hit boss) and down golgoroth with the shotgun glitch (fake). This is all completely made up and please don't attempt. He responds with "yeah I've done that tons of times it's super easy", equips shotgun and goes and is killed in the cave almost instantly. It's bad I had to do this. And I'm not trying to be mean. I offered to explain it first and got "oh no I know this don't worry" which was complete crap.

So you know I tell them what's what, we wipe like 2 times and on the 3rd try I'm calling plates when this happens. Me: left *left plate activates* Me: middle then right *silence* *continued silence* Me: MIDDLE HELLO Middle guy: yeah? Me: PLATE NOW Middle guy: didn't you say left right left??? *the warpriest deems you unworthy*

6 RepliesIt's official. Whether this thread has made me recognise it or I just start seeing horrible teams, it has happened. Ran Crota 390. Requirements were '395+ know what to do'. On getting in, I realise there's 4 ~390's and one 387, so so much for that. I also realise that all the team are squeaky and treating me like a possible liability: 'so you know what to do?' 'check my gear mate, yeah I'm good' (Ornamented cloak, chest, Necrochasm and black hammer) 'eh... well whatever' Get in, do one round, swordbearer tries 4 hits and dies- I miss that and oneshot oversoul with celestial GG. One kid asks 'what happened?' 'someone was wasting golden gun on him to down him (I grinned at this point and sat back)' 'what, who's using golden gun' 'It's that Dan guy' 'Yeah... you wanna down the oversoul with your LL? Didn't you see it go down?' 'you're a -blam!-ing hunter, you should be using tether' At this point I just started laughing a little. They then kicked me from the game and eventually kicked me from the party, as I really started laughing. 2 hours later as I went off I checked one of their profiles. They were still in the raid.

New LFG nightmare. Spend a hour and 15 minutes on the bridge checkpoint on Crota's End. One guy grabs the sword from Sword bearer and runs across bridge. Runs after hive major instead of gatekeeper. Sword dissappears. Gatekeeper has half health. I am running hunter with bones. I am jumping on middle platform staying alive (barely) while provoking knight for time to get the next sword bearer across. Next guy gets across killing knight. Relief sets in. Next sword bearer gets across. Goes after gatekeeper, repeatedly taps R1 (standard sword swing). I start yelling "slam with R2 at the knight you blaming! idiot". Sword disappears, gatekeeper is still alive. Guardian down... Me: What happened? Why were you trying to just swing at the knight instead of slamming with R2. Other guy: Uhhh... (Silence)... Me: WTF, does anybody here know how to do the raid. Everyone including guy who sword swings knight and guy who attacks yellow bar knight instead of gatekeeper: yeah I done this raid before. I left the party immediately. Started my own group. We beat every encounter 1st try. LFG nightmare that last group. Told the party about what happened and responded "I can't make this up".

Why lie? Nobody would make fun of anybody if they were honest, but when you make a demanding post and can't meet the standards you set, it makes you look silly. If you need a sherpa you can get one, but don't lie and inconvenience strangers because you want to get carried in a video game while looking down your nose at people.

Lol. LFG is hilarious. I haven't used it in forever but I remember everyone acting like they were insanely good and ended up being the carry.
