All Known HM Wrath of the Machine Changes

[b]In General:[/b] 1) More and different loot drops. 2) Enemies are higher light level. (Recommended Light Level is 380, everything including and past the second Vosik encounter is 390). 3) No revives (excluding self-resurrection). 4) Encounters that featured chests needing SIVA Cache Keys (Vosik, Siege Engine, Aksis Phase 2) will now spawn 2 chests, both requiring SIVA cache keys. The ones we're used to contain NM loot, whereas the new ones are a different colour and contain HM loot. This is the same as the NM armour, except they're different colours, and HM armour can have [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Armory/Detail?item=2634463554&itemname=Perfected%20Ornament]Perfected Ornaments[/url] inserted into them, causing them to glow with SIVA. However, I don't think anyone has found a Perfected Ornament yet; best guess is that they drop from Challenge Mode. [b]Opening the Door:[/b] I have heard reports that the Voltage Eaters spawn slightly faster. [b]Vosik, the Archpriest:[/b] 1) 6 SIVA charges have to be thrown instead of 3. 2) 1 big monitor lights up and has to be shot more than usual. 3) Safe room doors are half-closed, so you need to slide into them. [b]Siege Engine:[/b] After a certain amount of time has passed, a Perfected Walker will spawn in front of the Siege Engine while you're trying to deliver the parts. [b]Aksis, Phase 1:[/b] There are 2 SIVA turrets on the ceiling, and one on Aksis' platform that will shoot at you. They can be disabled for 20 seconds by shooting them. These disappear before Phase 2. [b]Aksis, Archon Prime:[/b] 9 Elemental Servitors spawn instead of the usual 3, and 7 SIVA charges need to be thrown at Aksis to trigger teleport. It should be noted that spare SIVA charges can be used to destroy Elemental Servitors. I will edit this post as new info comes to light. Keep this bumped, guardians.

    Also you can throw the xtra siva charges at Aksis to make up for the fact that you lose those cannon shots on the xtra servitors

  • I ran with a group last night but at the beginning, two voltage eaters spawned. Im not entirely sure this happened just on right but yeah, two spawned at a time.

    • Half-closed doors might not be completely accurate. It's closer to two-thirds closed, as half way would still allow hunters to do stuff like Shadestep under the door (and that does not work, we tested it). I would also like to add that with good coordination, the Perfected Walker added to the Siege Engine Phase is suuuuuper easy to take out. (Just a little add-on to make sure people know that it's not as deadly as the Patrol Walkers.) All in all, good post, mate, and thanks for sharing.

    • HM was hella easy. Ran it with a group of two friends and three I'd never played with before. We beat it in like 1.5 hours and that's with people leaving to take food/bathroom breaks. Think we only wiped maybe 5 times. It's like cringe worthy easy. Only thing that is more challenging is things hit harder than they did before and you can't be revived. Hopefully the challenge modes will be harder :/

        • Super duper noob question. What do you mean by no revives? I saw a stream from Briar Rabbit and he died a few times in the first boss fight at the very beginning and was able to revive himself. Does it change after that? As in you die, it is over until the boss is killed or the team wipes? Thanks!!

          • How many monitors are there in heroic? I know we activated them all but after we beat aksis, there were still two laser grids up. Anyone have an idea?

                Way too many badasses in here who seem to think beating a raid on hard makes them some sort of god. "Way too ez huehuehue" 3edgy5me Since when has any HM been challenging enough to brag about since perhaps VoG? Edit: that aside, thanks for compiling the info OP.

                      • A good thing to point out is that the cache's for normal and heroic are different. Make sure you're opening the right one.

                          • Only 1 monitor spawns at Vosik but it is significantly stronger and takes some team fire to drop. If done correctly, it is possible to down finish off his shield with 2 or 3 of the 6 bombs at once and deal a whole lot of bonus damage with the remaining bombs. The walker actually seemed to make the siege engine easier. We just shot the legs off to stun it and walked right by him. The turrets need to be constantly downed by the bomb throwers. These have the potential to spawn and catch people off guard. Aksis was not really a big difference. Same mechanics except you have to kill more servitors which also means you have fewer shots to use the scorch cannon on the boss. We killed him in 3 burn cycles.

                            390 Starts at the zamboni. 380 is beginning and vosiks. Played all the way to phase 2 last night. Edit: So i have been corrected, everything after the beginning is 390. Didnt feel to squishy at voksis. Got very squishy at zamboni..probably due to ships. Anywho, Point is not just aksis.
