90% of the primary weapons are so weak that you cant get kills with them. The only ones that kill fast enough are hand cannons. So givin that, all I see now is shotguns and grenades because they kill the fastest. Bungie can we please please start buffing weapons to the way they used to be instead of having these super diluted weak weapons. Year one was the best balance and has just gone to shit and got watered down since then. Hope you listen to year one players that have been here from the start

1 ReplyPeople can't shut about hand cannons, as if they don't know high rof/high mid rof pulse rifles can kill just as quickly.
-
4 RepliesHopscotch pilgrim with glass half full and body shots increase headshot damage ? My primary is far from watered down
-
20 RepliesPrimaries arent weak. Everything else is just too strong.
-
I get at least half my kills with primaries. You gotta play to the strength of you gun. If youre only good with hand cannons the you probly either rush a lot or hang in close quarters a lot. I play with scouts mostly because i like to hang in spots that can see a lot of the map and shoot ppl at a distance.
-
The problem we have are not that primaries are weak but you fail to understand that secondaries ARE primaries, and using a primary is a penalty for misusing your real primary ammo... lol. And then also heavy for a little bit.

Edited by Partzivol: 10/19/2016 11:29:27 PMThey've needed all the primaries to an equal plane but that also meant they got nerfed into oblivion
-
Pulse rifles need to be brought back. It's terrible how 80% of them are weaker than auto rifles.
-
3 RepliesAuto rifles yes, scouts not so much. Hung jury still is beast mode constantly. Autos are where changes are needed. The raid Genesis Chain for example takes nearly a full clip for me take down a 42 splicer in hard mode. Hand cannon 3 shots.
-
My Hung Jury is still unmatched by anything the factions or engrams offer. No raid or exotic primary can overpower it.

8 RepliesEdited by Smeef: 10/20/2016 12:10:16 AMAutos should maintain vanilla tier damage (except Suros Regime), but have a slightly increased damage drop off compared to what they have now. Nirwen's Mercy archetype pulses should be merged into Spare Change archetype then receive a small 1-2 damage increase for more consistent two burst crit kills Remove handcannon bloom but keep damage drop off. There.

Every primary does almost and in some instances that same amount of damage they had in vanilla. Only thing that changed is that PvP players, even the scrubs, have become much better at maneuvering around maps and closing distances. I.e, you can slide faster than 80% of the subclasses can backpedal. And people have been using scrub tactics more.

I miss when primaries were actually the primary weapon of use and not shotguns and snipers and melees and grenades. Less nerfs, more buffs at this point.
-
Nice bait lmao
-
Why is this in the classes section?
-
gitgud dude. I have more primary kills than special, up your game

1 ReplyMy Cryptic Dragon begs to differ
-
1 ReplyIm sorry, but you must not know how to use primary weapons if you can't get kills with them. It's as simple as that
-
5 RepliesAnd completely annihilate the unique slow paced pvp in Destiny? Find another way.
-
Actually hand cannon have one of the slowest time to kill in the game (excluding the last word) they just deal a ton of damage with each shot making it harder for people to take cover in time.

3 RepliesCryptic Dragon is my little monster

Been thinking about going back into Crucible with some older raid treasures. VoC, Praedyth's Timepiece, Oversoul Edict, things like that.
-
My apple of discord absolutely destroys tots. You go ahead and run off with that call of duty mentality. I'll hang back, check my corners and fire lane, and pull 3 kills to your 1 in two solid bursts.
-
1 ReplyMost games I've been in its all handcannons
-
1 ReplyYear 1 was 99% of primaries. There has been an improvement. Not all guns can be god rolls.
-
Idk, I still wreck with the Hung Jury to this day
