Raid Weapons...please don't suck
Like many of you I'm counting down the days till I have a new raid. With that being said I'm crossing my fingers for epic guns I can be proud of because honestly armor looks nice and all but it doesn't enhance gameplay like an elemental hand cannon with outlaw and firefly.
Bungie please you have time for a hot fix to bump stats up if these guns we are about to grind our hearts out for land closer to TTK quality and less like VoG and CE.
As a dedicated raider I can say the hard cores deserve better weapons than Oryx was willing to hand us. Outside the heavy machine gun and the novelty of firefly on a pulse they weapons were not great. I think a large percent of the community would agree that the vendor Hung Jury smoked any primary Kings Fall had to offer.
Stop acting as if great rolls will break the game. Armsday packages and vendor gear should not be better than raid weapons!

They don't look all that inspiring. Main perk is increased agility and extra damage against Fallen. Woohoo

I've taken a look at them in the database. There's a few good looking ones stat wise, and other than that, there's a few interesting ones.

Here's hoping focused fire + firefly is amazing. I still think focused fire needs a precision damage buff.

Idk how to describe it, sorry. Not impressed. I have not seen images, nor read anything, about the new loot. I hate spoilers, too, so...uh, well what the hell. Last expansion, right? Should I be concerned, people?

Kingsfall weapons sucked yet didn't... compared to VoG weapons, they were complete trash but compared to year 2 legendaries? Not horrible. Year 3... oh, sorry, can't call it that... Better come with some nice gear. Everything in ttk has been trash. Ought to bring back primary elementals also since they already went back on their word of no primary elementals with the zhalo. Imagine the raid weapons being modern styled weapons with elemental damages... Famas destiny style.

7 RepliesMaybe the King's Fall raid weapons were weak but I got in late and I consider them some of the best weapons in the game especially with Stow and the impact+range stats. I consistently use them on endgame content, and I'm having a hard time imagining how Bungie could make better raid weapons without de-balancing the game. I can't say much for the armor as it's pretty run-of-the-mill compared to other Legendaries.

unfortunately they do seem to be pretty shit. The Shotgun might be decent and Auto rifle has firefly. Oh, and no ornaments on them, which means the shitty, plain look they have is here is to stay *eye roll*

Go to the armory and you can see the perks they all have 2 perks that work with each other some are pretty good
