Solar burn means use guns with the flame symbol
I don't understand why there are so many players in heroic strikes using void and arc guns and not using solar subclasses (this week is solar burn). Are they stupid, or do they just not care? I can't believe people want matchmaking for raids. If they spend 5 minutes in heroic strikes they will see just how stupid people are. These tards can't even match elemental guns and sub classes to the burn modifier. Imagine being in a raid with all of those window lickers! I'd be happy if we could opt out of matchmaking in strikes.
Edit: I forgot to say that I believe some of these players are even too stupid to understand what a burden they are to the rest of the fire team.

It's easiest and most efficient to use all solar this week. But if people wanna use something other than solar there isn't much you can do about it. (This is the main reason I don't like modifiers for heroic strikes- I don't want to feel like I have to use the same weapons all week or I'll be putting myself at a disadvantage)

Heroics aren't exactly what you could call "end game level content" so honestly you can use whatever the heck you want in them, if you wanna go with a group using all solar secondaries, heavies, and classes (because -blam!- having fun in a game right?) use lfg sites.

Sometimes I don't have a piece of gear that's got high enough light and is also solar/void/arc. Sorry for my bad luck with RNG I guess...

Just use LFG. People in matchmaking (and on the forums if they don't understand your argument) are morons. You want to get strikes done fast with good players. LFG for players who know what mods actually do and have the correct gear. You want idiots who think they are helping sitting on a self Rez when it's arc burn, matchmake with the rest of the idiots.

I don't even play with people that invite me from the Tower. I tried to help out a couple of them once, and those kids couldn't even get the first VoG door open. I was running between plates trying to be superman and kill everything because they kept getting murdered. One of them lost his mind when he saw me equip Truth "OMG, that rocket launcher looks sick!!"....then in the middle of them failing to hold the plates, one of them was talking about how good his pizza tasted and that his friend needs to come get a slice. I pulled out my ghost and left.

Oh my days, dude! There strikes, who the hell cares what you use, your still guna breeze through them whatever you use. Maybe some people don't wana run through like a -blam!-ing gazelle and maybe, just maybe, they wana use whatever gun they want.......I know, sounds crazy don't it!

Or maybe they don't play too much so they don't really have any solar guns? Some people don't play as much as the majority of people on here do.

Burns in Heroic strikes have been added, I'm sure some people are still not aware of this. I personally missed the announcement of it as well, and didn't notice it until someone told me about. So before concluding those ppl are stupid, just tell them first.

25 RepliesPeople are idiots. When it's arc burn half the warlocks still run sunsinger with self Rez and don't use a single arc weapon. People just DONT know what mods do. They don't know that when primary burn is on your special and heavy do 50% less damage. When specialist is on your primary does 50% less damage. Christ can you imagine what a matchmade raid would be like?

Because it's more 'fun' I don't get how it's more fun to use a void thousand yard stare instead of a solar one, when they function the same Or how it's more fun to use a void rocket than a solar rocket, when they function the same.

I partially agree with you. After doing 3 heroic strikes i gave up because no one was using solar weapons and sub classes. The worst possible strike for this week is the bond brothers. Mauul's slam attack is basically a ohk unless you jump at the right second. The 2 people i was playing with were not uing solar weapons/sub classes so they were a problem. I didn't bail because i was wanted to get the strike down and after resetting 5 times they finally got the hint and changed to solar. I changed to bladedancer to revive them because they were terrible.
