I don't understand why there are so many players in heroic strikes using void and arc guns and not using solar subclasses (this week is solar burn). Are they stupid, or do they just not care? I can't believe people want matchmaking for raids. If they spend 5 minutes in heroic strikes they will see just how stupid people are. These tards can't even match elemental guns and sub classes to the burn modifier. Imagine being in a raid with all of those window lickers! I'd be happy if we could opt out of matchmaking in strikes.
Edit: I forgot to say that I believe some of these players are even too stupid to understand what a burden they are to the rest of the fire team.

4 RepliesI feel your pain. I'm not looking to do a 15 minute strike (even if it may not take that long, this is just an example) I want my strikes done quick and onto the next one. People fail to understand that the reason we desire other people to have proper load outs for strikes it so that they get done faster, we get more rep, and we get more loot. I'm not looking to revive the same sword monkey for 8 minutes straight because they are set up properly. I also don't want to waste 10 minutes on the Undying Mind boss strike when we could kill him right as he spawns with snipers. We don't complain because it's hard, we complain because it's taking too long, and we want to get stuff done faster. Plus these things should be common logic.

I haven't been playing much due to time constraints but I decided to give it an hour or two every other day on strikes since I found out they have a burn now. It was a pain in the ass trying to run them with people like you describe. Common sense goes out the window most of the time. I stand with you, man.

I go into strikes with zero expectations for whatever team I'm matched with, half the time you'll get at least one person afk for the whole strike. Then sometimes you get people that are just trying to level new gear, or they're just new. I'm cool with whatever people want to use, if they're shooting at enemies then I'm satisfied. Every once in a while you'll get matched with a great team that knows exactly what to do and you can blaze through for a bit, which is great. I guess what I'm saying is if you have no expectations on your teams performance, then you'll never be disappointed. It's not like strikes are difficult anyway. Yeah it's a bummer if you're the one doing 90% of the work, but you always have the option to build your own team.

I just assume they're completing bounties

1 ReplyPeople did pay a "Reasonable price" to play those strikes, just get a fireteam. If you cant then you'd have to deal with them like i do. Remember there are people behind the account. If you accept them for who they are they might become great friends of yours.
sorry that this being a long paragraph, I just want to teach you acceptance
Edited by AdligerAdler: 9/8/2016 6:28:35 AMThat doesn't automatically mean those players are stupid, scrubby or whatever. I do it too sometimes, not in nightfalls but in heroic strikes. Heroic strikes aren't that hard when your LL is high, when you get matched with other high LL players do the strikes for the 150th time.

Really? I thought it meant use a water Pokemon... Gee, have I been playing destiny wrong!
-
No no no, by all means give Raids matchmaking....I want to watch the forums burn!
-
2 RepliesBecause ppl like using different guns , Not the same one all the time.

I think some people take destiny fairly seriously and some just don't care. Unfortunately I'm one of the ones that take it seriously. Don't use the right burn, drives me nuts. Don't try to capture zones, drives me nuts. It's just a game, shouldn't bother me. I think the problem with me is that it's work, grinding, trying to get the next random loot or bounty done in as efficiently as possible.

Your attitude is terrible.

Okay first off there's zero reason for that level of disrespect. But did you ever think that maybe they just want to use things they enjoy using? I have a certain playstyle I'm good with. If they ever added a sniper rifle burn I'm not going to use a sniper rifle, because it doesn't suit my playstyle. This week I was lucky because I use solar subclasses, but in a void burn strike I wouldn't use my void subclasses - it doesn't suit my playstyle. I'm not saying everyone feels this way but it should be obvious they're just using what they enjoy using.

Maybe people like playing strikes and don't want it to be over so soon?
-
Stfu I play how I want scrub...
-
If I ever get in a team with you, I'll be sure to rock my Raze Lighter and Solar Shotgun. I'll also be sure to never use them.
-
Someone's mad lol
-
I'm going to play the game how I want thanks. The hell you going to do about it? Nothing. You can back out if you want.
-
Because strikes are meant to be played for fun and relaxing times... If i want to play with the loadout i want I'll do it! If i have to start being sweaty in strikes and have optimised loadouts just to finish the strike 1-2 minutes faster....

Edited by SynK Deagle: 9/8/2016 11:16:06 AMI'll use whatever weapon I want, I don't give two shits what the burn is. Who are you to say what people can use and can't use?
-
People paid for this game, they can play however the fuck they want.
-
I myself have guns to cover any burns(except a good Solar Shotgun) and all subclasses maxed(still need stormcaller on my Lock but I never play him anyway) Not everyone one does tho, I get it if you are using a void launcher or sniper during Solar...but if you have anything that matches it helps and I rather a Nightstalker then Gunslinger unless you are using Nighthawk for insane DPS Had the joy of Brothers like 4 times in a row last night, only once did we finish a run...that one run was a Sunsinger Lock and Two SunBro Titans(I main Titan) Again I get it...but if you have the guns, use them

3 RepliesSome people just don't have solar weapons. They still want to do the strikes for rep and rewards though. Just don't go charging in and die instantly.
-
This post makes you look like an ignorant -blam!-. lol
-
Thanks for the tips. I needed someone to tell me how to make the heroic strikes easier than they already are.
-
What, and not make use of my marvelous Telesto? You, sir, are a dullard and an egregiously egocentric bully. I bid you good day.
-
It's easiest and most efficient to use all solar this week. But if people wanna use something other than solar there isn't much you can do about it. (This is the main reason I don't like modifiers for heroic strikes- I don't want to feel like I have to use the same weapons all week or I'll be putting myself at a disadvantage)
