Solar burn means use guns with the flame symbol
I don't understand why there are so many players in heroic strikes using void and arc guns and not using solar subclasses (this week is solar burn). Are they stupid, or do they just not care? I can't believe people want matchmaking for raids. If they spend 5 minutes in heroic strikes they will see just how stupid people are. These tards can't even match elemental guns and sub classes to the burn modifier. Imagine being in a raid with all of those window lickers! I'd be happy if we could opt out of matchmaking in strikes.
Edit: I forgot to say that I believe some of these players are even too stupid to understand what a burden they are to the rest of the fire team.

If I want to load in to the heroic strike playlist with all appropriate gear. Then switch to all white gear. Its my choice.

1 ReplyFundamental attribution error is when you blame a person's circumstance on their character. I.e. This guy was speeding so he must be an asshole. In reality his wife was in labor. We are more likely to make a FAE to others than against ourselves obviously. It could be bounties for certain weapons or sub class ability kills. They could not have the proper gear. OR They very well may have been stupid. There's plenty of stupid to go around.

You nailed my frustrations of my weekly ventures into heroics...in the matchmaking I inspect the loadouts,esp when there is say a modifier for special weapon and an element,say solar and special...so you would hope/think most players would have a solar sniper,shotty,fusion,or even sidearm...nope,it will be void or arc,and then of course subclass dosnt match up with the burn which is really annoying on the weeks were you also have a grenade boost to correspond to the element...at first I thought,well,mabye this guy dosnt have any solar specials? grimoire check...no,he should definately have something...and it happens sooooo damn often that either heroic strike matchmakers want a challenge,are blind in one eye,or just trolls. It hardly ever works out I get all 3 of us with a proper loadout for the modifiers...and yes,people that want matchmaking for raids are just insane,unless you had the option to vote to boot if somebody dosnt have the right guns for the raid.

Real talk. Use the -blam!-ing burns. If you want to use regular guns, why wouldn't you play regular strikes?

2 RepliesUhmm... maybe they are working on a bounty or challenge that requires a different elemental burn than the burn being active for the current strike? For things as easy as the strikes, it really does not matter what burn they are using, if I have no bounties/challenges requiring a different elemental kill than the burn active for the strikes; then sure I use whatever burn will be the most effective. Dude really a burden? It is a strike mission, they are not that hard nor time consuming. I think you got a bit excessively hot under the collar on this posting. Remember, it is just a game. In the future posts, you might want to consider all options before accusing people of being stupid, because I find often when we make such accusations; in the end we are the ones that end up looking stupid.

They excuses I see for not using the appropriate subclasses are Void Titans, Void Hunters, and Solar Warlocks. But only for the obvious reasons. After OG Queen's Wrath, where I had no variety of burns for the various story missions, I started making sure I had one sniper, launcher, and machine gun of each burn for each character. Even if that meant holding on to a green until I got a blue to trade for a purple later down the road. I did this with The Taken King as well but it was much easier as I went from 34 to 40 in ten seconds flat.

If there were still elemental primaries I would agree. Hate using special for PVE the whole time. And solar subclass not finished/sunsinger is just lame

Ill use whatever Damm sniper i want, Even if its my arc 5001 ldr. I do enough damage with nighthawk And my machinegun. And i dont Care whatever subclasses my teammates use, ill gladly accept them, als Long as they produce orbs. Tether is Great for orbs, And more or less 1 hitting Bosses with my nighthawk, And defender Produces Orbs as well.

Yes it does mean that solar burn will up the damage with solar weapons a bit but it is still better to match a void/arc shield if the time comes(and it will!)

1 ReplyI don't understand when some people don't use a solar subclass, but using arc and void weapons I can understand as there are bounties that require you to get kills with a certain burn. People seem to have forgot about those bounties.
