I don't understand why there are so many players in heroic strikes using void and arc guns and not using solar subclasses (this week is solar burn). Are they stupid, or do they just not care? I can't believe people want matchmaking for raids. If they spend 5 minutes in heroic strikes they will see just how stupid people are. These tards can't even match elemental guns and sub classes to the burn modifier. Imagine being in a raid with all of those window lickers! I'd be happy if we could opt out of matchmaking in strikes.
Edit: I forgot to say that I believe some of these players are even too stupid to understand what a burden they are to the rest of the fire team.

4 RepliesI thought this was going to be a good post. but its really just you whining about the optional matchmaking.
-
3 RepliesIf this bothers you that much, get your own friends or get on LFG. You're obviously new here, and boy you care waaaay too much about what other people do.
-
3 RepliesAnd people want MORE matchmade activities lol.
-
It's nice to have matchmaking when you just need one or two people so optional raid matchmaking would be a good thing. If you're having such a hard time run that shit with friends.
-
I use the guns with the purple symbol because it's the prettiest color.
-
2 RepliesAnd people want raid match making... To many dumb people play video games.
-
Are they stupid, or do they just not care?
I just don't care. I am not under any obligation to use what others want me to use. I use what I find fun to use, or what is more applicable to the situation. Matching damage types to shields is still more effective than using a burn matching damage type against an unmatched shield.

10 Replies^^^Someone who can't beat a strike without using an elemental burn modifier, how pathetic.
-
20 RepliesI run nightstalker because tethering targets for the other who who ARE using solar subclasses seems like the best option than a 3 shot golden gun. But hey. I guess im stupid right?
-
It's just a strike. You can finish it with rare weapons.

Edited by Benzene21: 9/8/2016 3:55:46 PMWhere does it say that you HAVE to use the burn modifier??? People are free to use what they want. I don't see how this is a problem in a STRIKE. You have to be kidding me.
-
I do use them. I usually use the class as well but sometimes I like to switch it up. Why? Because I can

10 RepliesIt boils down to this. Using the wrong subclass and wrong weapons for a strike it letting all your team mates do the work for you and carry you. Like so:http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Raider1987/screenshot/4484188 No strikes aren't challenging. They never have been. Most people run strikes to get them done as fast as possible, farm gear, materials and rep. This is why raid matchmaking wouldn't work. People are idiots. They don't understand burns/mods and what they do. It's not uncommon to matchmake into an arc burn strike and not only see none of your team mates with any arc weapons, but also no arc subclass. You can bet the warlocks most of the time will still be using self Rez. Destiny has managed to get this culture of 'why should I do all the work when someone else will do it for me' attitude that's happening down in the scrubbier ranks of the community. Honestly it's just pathetic.
-
I've done this when completing bounties. It's not really a big deal.
-
I could care less, bruh. It's a strike, not a hard mode raid. All I'm doing is having a jolly good time. People like you ruin the fun factor of PvE...
-
It's a god damn heroic strike, calm yo tits.
-
5 RepliesWhy? Are the strikes hard or something?
-
You must be really challenged when the heroic strike doesn't come with a burn modifier.
-
7 RepliesOr I can use different weapons to level up, or complete bounties, etc. These are your recent forum posts.
I refuse to revive players that constantly run ahead of everyone else trying to be boss. I adhere to the three strike rule: if you haven't learned your lesson by your third reckless death, you are officially on a time out. My thoughts on afk players is that they are scum bags along the lines of pedophiles and rapists. I actively pray for bad things to happen to them and blame their parents for raising shitty subhuman children.

everyone is a -blam!-ing victim nowadays. Shut the -blam!- up and play the game or go do something else. Muted for being a worthless crybaby
You're a -blam!-ing tumor, kid.

No. It means solar stuff does extra damage. You can in fact still use whatever weapon/ subclass you want to use.
-
How would matchmaking for raids affect you? It wouldn't prevent you from inviting your friends.
-
It's Void Burn since the update and I keep seeing people running solar. Like, wtf, can you people even read?!
-
4 RepliesNo. It just means solar weapons do extra damage. Calm down and let people play how they want. Not everyone gets lucky with their drops and they might not have solar based weapons. Maybe they don't like the solar class and that's why they chose to not use it. Don't like playing with Randoms then don't play with randoms. Get some friends and run strikes with them. Getting all bent outta shape for things totally out of your control just doesn't make any sense. Control what you can and try to let the rest not get to you.
-
Maybe they don't have solar?
-
2 RepliesWell in year one void and arc burn still meant use Gjallarhorn...

If I want to load in to the heroic strike playlist with all appropriate gear. Then switch to all white gear. Its my choice.
