Solar burn means use guns with the flame symbol
I don't understand why there are so many players in heroic strikes using void and arc guns and not using solar subclasses (this week is solar burn). Are they stupid, or do they just not care? I can't believe people want matchmaking for raids. If they spend 5 minutes in heroic strikes they will see just how stupid people are. These tards can't even match elemental guns and sub classes to the burn modifier. Imagine being in a raid with all of those window lickers! I'd be happy if we could opt out of matchmaking in strikes.
Edit: I forgot to say that I believe some of these players are even too stupid to understand what a burden they are to the rest of the fire team.

Not necessarily. Some weapons are great enough without matching the element. Not everyone has an ideal weapon vault. Given the damage differences, I would prefer a player use an off-element high impact sniper over a matching low-impact one. Light levels make it more tricky.

4 RepliesI can explain why, as I sometimes use weapons outwith the burn. If I'm doing bounties for "get kills with arc weapons" ill jump into strikes to do them as I get rep for the strike and the bounty. Not so STUPID now ay?

4 RepliesSometimes it depends. If it's arc burn I'll use Zhallo of course but not bladedancer because bladedancing an ultra is bad news, so I stick to nightstalker. Same as a titan, weapons of light on a boss is better than 1 smash.

Solar burn means set yourself on fire I could care less what you want. I'll keep wrecking with any gun and style I want skrub.

Sometimes when I run strikes I'm trying to rank up a certain weapon or subclass. But most the time you will see me with the burn that is necessary lol.

I mentioned about the lack of attention to detail as well with some players you are match up with on strikes. I usually will revive them unless they die constantly & not figure it out for themselves at that point I will leave their floating ghost alone & continue with the strike solo. There's just no cure for stupid.

Those are the types of people to not realize what the update did despite having the update notes available to them, rush a heavy ammo spawn despite the entire enemy team staring him down, and otherwise are so totally unaware of the battlefield that the rest of the fireteam ends up carrying them. If the in-game report reasons for "unhelpful" actually did anything, I'd use it.

Although I agree with you (not that they're a burden, just that it would be done quicker if they use the burn) why not just get 2 friends to runs strikes with you? Then this won't be a problem :)

I'll use elemental weapons for the burn, but if I'm still working on maxing a subclass, IDGAF what burn it is, I'm doing the strikes for the XP.

2 RepliesNo matter what the burn, best believe I'm going to run my defender with dark drinker. Just be glad I'm making all these orbs for you in turn giving you your super almost every 5 seconds, not to mention giving you extra damage or a shield on top of the already active burn/modifier and also a safe haven.
