Well Bungie WHAT THE F@#! IS UP WITH YOU!!! You say that the Zen, and Jade would be available for Xbox players in Fall 2016. then you change that to "Ohh never mind might as well make 2 year old weapons ect available for Xbox Players in Destiny 2" And with ALL of the PS exclusive stuff remaining PS exclusive. That means that Xbox players are not only missing out on 2 very good Exotics. But also, A map for private matches, 3 Whole armor sets. with the stuff they won't get with the Rise of Iron PS exclusives.
This is, not just bad marketing for Xbox players, It's just a very Douche'y move in general. But we can change this "hopefully" Like we did when Bungie said originally there wasn't going to be a vault space increase. but now they said "okay we'll give you vault space" And i'm a PS4 Destiny player and I even see the bad in this. Also PS4 players will still have to rely on RNJesus to get Zen Meteor, or Jade Rabbit, or the PS TTK armor.
While if they went to Xbox, Xur could sell the Zen or Jade. and the PS TTK armor could be earned from legendary engrams. So lets bump, and like this post for our Xbox Gaurdians to get them what they can enjoy what we had for a year, for they don't have to wait until destiny 2.
UPDATE: Wow 100 likes... considering that there are around 4 threads about this problem in the top 10 threads on the Topic list. Bungie will likely notice. And hopefully make a public comment. But thanks for the support, and showing Bungie that All of you who liked this thread and the other threads about this topic, don't want anymore of this shady business about Exclusivity timers and want more concrete expectations for Exclusives if they must exist.

6 RepliesThe recent Edge article pretty much confirmed that destiny 2 was originally planned to come out fall of this year. But in late 2015 early 2016 bungie decided that they needed more time to get destiny 2 to where they want it. So they got together a team to create RoI to hold over the extra year until destiny 2 releases next year. My guess is that the contract with sony says that the exclusives would stay exclusive to playstation until destiny 2 launched. Since bungie originally planned to release destiny 2 this fall the exclusives would have been released on xbox a year after ttk. But now that destiny 2 will be next year bungie can't release the exclusives on xbox.

3 RepliesMy theory is the exclusives are tied to a contract and that got screwed up. Perhaps they were meant to be exclusive until Destiny 2 and Destiny 2 being delayed is the reason? That's all I got.

It isn't necessarily bungie's fault. They have little control once they've made a contract with Sony for exclusives a year ago. We don't know what that entails so we don't know what caused this sudden change.

Contract was the Y2 exotics to be PS exclusive until Destiny 2 came - originally planned for a Fall 2016 release - however since it got delayed RoI is going to be D1's last expansion - presumably - before Destiny 2 next year. This isn't Bungie screwing over Xbox players, this is simply the fine print written by suits + delays caused by same suits screwing Xbone players over. I'd direct my frustration at Activi$ion.

7 RepliesI am an Xbox user and this is total bullshit we are paying the same price as PlayStation players but we are getting less for it. The weapons are not the problem it's the principal of the matter that gets on my nerves. What's next for PS exclusives, raids, dlc early? I know I'm not the only one who feels this way so I'm not buying any more destiny content/Dlc until this changes.

Adding something to a complete product as a promotion exclusively for group A does not deprive group B of anything. If a few exclusives are important get a ps4.
