A friend had given a copy of Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition. When I tried to play a mission from the expansion packs, it showed that I did not buy them., when I had in fact bought them for the regular version of Destiny for my 360. Both of these copies are on disc, but the DLC was purchased via digital download through the Xbox Live marketplace. The Legendary edition did not come with a code and I am not sure if the disc was new or used, or where it was bought so I have no way to request assistance from the retailer. Would I need to get an access code, and if so, where do I get one and how much are they?

Hi, Only expansions 1 and 2 are part of the digital upgrade program. Unfortunately, you will have to repurchase Destiny: The Taken King for your Xbox one. Please see link below for more information. https://www.bungie.net/en/help/article/12122

7 RepliesThe Digital Upgrade Program only covers the first two expansions. Those should still transfer for free. TTK was never part of the digital upgrade program and doesn't carry over to the current gen consoles. You will need TTK for your xbox one. The disc, no matter what version, only includes the base game.
