In April, Bungie said they weren't touching Viking Funeral because it would ruin the class...
Then they touched it and ruined the class. As of now, Viking Funeral is useless. Also, this burn "bug" hurts the class even more. It's been what, a month now? I think that it was an intended nerf.
Sunsingers aren't dead, but their neutral game took a huge hit. Since their neutral game is also their super game, their super game took a hard hit too.
This spoiler is what I think about the classes currently.

1 ReplyThe change made solar grenades much less effective for me. You can throw a dozen grenades under radiance but only 3 of them stack. They're also not as effective when soloing missions, since enemies only take extra damage when shot while burning instead of just burning to death. I guess Sunsinger is meant to be a support class now. Oh well. Maybe I'll start equipping Song of Flame instead of Radiant Skin...

Agree with everything but Gunslinger super rating. I'm a Voidwalker main, but I've used Gunslinger, and I just don't think it lasts long enough to warrant a perfect score.

3 RepliesI'm kind of surprised that people say sunsingers are bad. I still think double firebolt is extremely nasty to deal with. Grenades still proc faster than voidwalker nades. Now, I havent used sunsinger in ages so I could be very very wrong. I love voidwalker too much.

3 RepliesNothing but striker is given a value higher than 6 for neutral game. You claim the voidwalker neutral game is on par with nighstalker & sunbreaker. You give gunslinger the highest value for super while saying storm is below it. It seems a bit biased towards warlocks being the weakest in your opinion.

17 RepliesSide note that I am picking on, night stalker neutral is literally shit right now. With smokes doing jack shit, and having the worst grenades period, Nightstalker's went from having a great neutral game in return for a shitty super, to have a terrible neutral and a mediocre super.

No one wants the old one back except for the people who spam grenades and rely on massive burn damage to bring enemies to one shot. For some reason, people think Sunsingers were underpowered... It's never been that way. It's always been a strong class. If you don't suck, it's still a strong class. The people switching classes or "abandoning" their Warlocks is because they're too scared to adapt to change. They're the standard, "I only play the strongest thing all the time and can't play for myself." type of players. They're the players that solely rely on YouTube and other sources to find out what's good instead of using weapons / abilities for themselves to actually understand why some things are good.

14 RepliesHuge hit to neutral game? No, not really. They just tweaked it. They made it so that the laughably overpowered combo of burn grenade and firebolt isn't as effective, compared to the other classes. Nothing in anyone else's kit takes you out of a fight for that long. It brought them in balance with the rest, and those that relied on it now need to adapt and overcome man.

2 RepliesI have never understood the reason for this nerf! The stats graph a few weeks ago showing that a couple of the hunter classes reign well above other classes in pvp, so what was the reason? I didn't used to like pvp much but played it for achievements and for rewards. The nerf to sunsinger didn't change that but made me ask if I enjoyed playing a game where I have to remain up to date with changes to keep enjoying the game! While that was interesting for a bit, now I am tired of that as it seems like a chore.
