STOP sending tower invites you headbangers!
Arrives at tower and immediately receives invite from martymcdickface. Invite to what?? His house for cookies,a circle jerk,a raid??? If your going to send invites, for the love of God say what you're inviting me to...otherwise just naff off and leave me alone.
Edit*I am more than willing to help anyone with anything,got nothing left to do anyway...cept hanging at the tower getting random invites to nothing...pmsl.

4 RepliesOh man do I have a short story. A few weeks ago I was in the Tower picking up bounties and I got a message asking if I could help with KF due to being a 335 Titan. I thought about it and I said I would give a hand. This guy then sends a friend request, party invite, and a fireteam invite. Okay so now we are on our way into the raid, we land, and it says I was kicked from the fireteam?? I message the guy and said what was that all about? This guy says nothing personal we were just betting if some random would actually join. What. The. Fuk Anyway I will now ignore every single message I get if I don't know the person.

I got a couple invites from somebody and I had nothing better to do so I asked what they wanted. They said they needed help getting a black spindle. The kid invited me to his fireteam and I found a random on the forum. They both got the spindle the first try. Felt good to help a couple people out.

Back in the day I joined random invites but now I don't bother if they don't say what they want. Half the time you join they sit in orbit. Its dumb

2 RepliesYear 1.. As soon as I was a level 26 I get this message from some guy saying "Blah would like to play Destiny" I thought why not. Next thing I know I'm standing on some Pedestal trying to keep these Minotaur's and other Vex from taking the Pedestal. We fight off everything and the Spire is formed. Needless to say I took a chance from a Random and it was the first time 6 of us did "The Raid" well, back then it was Vault of Glass. Does it always happen that way? NO, often its the stupidest things so now when I get a "Blah would like to play Destiny" I often ask whats up. If I don't like the answer I move on or I ignore them if I'm feeling Salty.

If someone sends me a random invite with no indication as to what they want me for, I'll always ignore it. If someone takes the time of their day to write something as simple as "help w/ [activity] ?", I might even help if I'm not busy doing something else. It's really that simple. I doubt anybody wants to join a game through a random invite with no indication as to what it is.

I only seem to get those invites when doing the heroic strike playlist, I know they want me to join their fire team so they can kick me when we get to the boss so I ignore the 20+ invites I get from them.

The worst for me is when I run heroic strikes with randoms and I get someone who incessantly bombards me with party invites. Get the hint: I'm not responding and I play strikes with randoms off mic just to kill time. If I wanted to talk I would be in a raid or something. This one kid (I have to assume it was a kid) wasn't satisfied that I ignored his literally 15+ party invites during a strike, he then sends me a message that said "join man wtf!". C'mon kid.

Ill send them a msg saying send a msg asking what youre inviting for and not just spam invites. Everyone just keeps spamming,invites
