Arrives at tower and immediately receives invite from martymcdickface. Invite to what?? His house for cookies,a circle jerk,a raid??? If your going to send invites, for the love of God say what you're inviting me to...otherwise just naff off and leave me alone.
Edit*I am more than willing to help anyone with anything, got nothing left to do anyway...cept hanging at the tower getting random invites to nothing...pmsl.

3 RepliesI made the mistake of asking "what do you need help with" once, I got this as a reply... "Just join my fireteam, and don't -blam!-ing ask why"

I managed to beat HM on Day 2 of its release, so you can imagine what happened when I went to the tower with the emblem on.
-
Agreed. I would probably accept most requests and help with activities if there was an explanation attached.
-
1 ReplySo did you get my invite or not? I can send it 5 more times if necessary.
-
What's even better is when you ask them what they need help with and they don't respond, they just keep sending invites.

Edited by magburner: 7/14/2016 9:09:19 AMSometimes I follow the invites, and see where they lead me. Remember, we may have chewed over this content many times, but for others, it could be their first time.

I always throw on the OG Year 1 nostalgia gear in the tower. Feels badass and also brings your LL waaaay down. Cuts the random invites down a bit... unless they see the Grimoire score lol...

4 RepliesI know right, silly blue berries

3 RepliesDay one legend with both MoT here. I am a celeb myself. The year 2 noobs ask me all the time too. I downgrade my gear and use a blue emblem .... if i join the tower. All that request.... just tooo many... These year 2 players can do nothing themself

Every time I get invite, it is a 290 looking for a hard raid or a level 17 who needs help leveling up.
-
No text w/ invite to join = you're a kid in my book. No thanks, ignored.
-
3 RepliesI typically headbang for about 15 minutes every time I arrive at the tower. However, I always send a description in my invites. So yeah. I take offense.

Edited by FreebieDogg22: 7/14/2016 10:41:42 AMSame response everytime from me....... "I am playing Destiny" :)

2 RepliesI'll be in a strike with my buddy and a random. That random will spam destiny invites to us once in a while. Noobs to their new system.

If I ever decide to send random invites it's for head banging in the tower and reef

Or, you go to the trouble to send an invite to a friend with a note/explanation in the text, and then they join, only to subsequently join chat and ask what you want, then say no and leave with a lame excuse, so fuching annoying. If I go to the trouble to text in the invite, read it ffs!
-
1 ReplyUsually txt them back with. " Don't know? Let me check with my mom." Usually hear nothing back after that.

I feel your pain. The uninvited invites are not invitingly invited, so inviting invites that don't know you is cookies.
-
I had that happen the other day and I was willing to help and sent a message asking if he needed help. It took him about an hour to respond. By that time I had jumped into something. But I totally agree.
-
2 RepliesPeople have been sending me invites recently because I have the HM Oryx challenge emblem on my main. It's pretty annoying indeed.

Just walk up to the person that invited you and shake your head back and forth. Works for me pretty well.
