The original KF Hard raid was going to have random burns on primaries, but Bungie removed them at the last minute. Evidence for this? Artifiacts. Seriously, Solar Precision kills to generate Orbs of Light? Only 2 weapon types can even accomplish that. (Snipers and Heavy Machineguns. Shotguns can, but are unlikely to get precision kills and Sleeper Simulant is an outlier) I am 80% sure I'm right about this. Edit 1: Sidearms can do precision kills. I don't use them so I forgot they existed.
