I'm not a technical day one player but I'm pretty damn close November 2014 and I've been following the game since end of 2013. Anyways my question who of you are day one players.

Bought borderlands: pre/sequel and destiny at release. Was a huge bl2 fan so played pre-sequel, until I got all legendaries then switched to destiny. Now waiting for bl3

Took forever to get used to new controllers( I'm an old fart from old school controllers). Haven't stopped since. I like the gameplay. Storyline(although would have been better if they didn't sell out to activision). Does get boring sometimes. But mostly because bunghole keep jacking with crap. Nerfing for the kiddies. Trying to bleed our pockets for stupid crap. Banner is my favorite activity. Otherwise mostly a PvE player

Year 1 player. Got Destiny after both DLC's dropped. Initially thought it looked stupid. Like a wanna-be Halo remake or something. About 40 days worth of game time later and this is pretty much all I play. Bought Fallout 4; barely touched it. Still only level 4 or something LOL. Bought Hitman; barely touched it. Bought Star Wars Battlefront. Actually played it for awhile until they just nerfed the shit out of everything Still managed to complete Y1 MoT, get tons of exotics, finished raids, etc.

Day One. Kinda wish I had played a lot more before Dark Below. I never did VoG until after the Dark Below. I wish I had so I could have had a chance to use the Vex in PvP before nerf. Also be able to have that vanilla destiny feel.

1 ReplyI went to Gamestop to replace an overused copy of Skyrim, the exact day it released, and was harrassed (literally) into buying it, some would say it was Destiny, lol... Never played Skyrim again, btw...

If we're talking specifically as to when I started playing Destiny - then I'm a day 3 player. (I'm not counting the time I played the Alpha or the Beta) However, I was around when Bungie launched the Alpha Lupi experience that lead up to Destiny's reveal in 2013.
