So something that has been bothering me is the fact that Batman in BvS is almost unknown at the time of the movie. The police aren't his friends yet, they think he's fake, and so do the newspapers and all of Metropolis. Yet, there is still the "bat signal". But unless he turns it on himself, who does it? No sign of Gordon, no sign he's working with the police. And he's obviously been doing this awhile, seeing as how Dick Grayson bas probably become Nightwing by now, and the Robin suit we see is Jason Todd's. Yet, there's still no signs that the city knows what he is, who he is or that he even exists. Clark makes it sound like it's a new development, by basically saying there's rumours of a bat vigilante. It just doesn't make sense to me that if Batman has been doing this for so long, and put the Joker and other big time criminals away, that the world wouldn't know about him.

4 RepliesIs the movie worth watching? I've heard mixed reviews and am unsure as to whether it would be a waste of my time to watch.

Edited by Oliver Queen: 7/2/2016 12:03:43 AMThe police knows he is real. The public knows he is real. The reason why clark goes after him is because of the branding and prisoner deaths which we caused by luthor.

1 ReplyNot only that but Alfred hints to the fact that Batman has been around for 20 years by that time.

3 RepliesOr maybe
Zack Snyder is just a bad director?
2 RepliesActually that sign was when the two cops came in and the rookie shot at Batman. Then the other cop told him he almost shot one of the good guys. Also Gordon and Batman don't have to meet every night, he's already in the solo Batman film anyways

It's a telepathic sign
