New Rise of Iron - release date, stream tease, screenshots.
This thread started a couple days ago as the "leaks" were beginning. The stream is over so this is now OBE and no longer serves that purpose. Speculation still continues on many themes. Looking forward to future reveals thru the summer. Good gaming all.

With many zones. Strikes. Lots of new things to explore. This is just going to turn into another grind fest for the same 4 guns, through a space we all patrol in for a week, in a raid we conquer on the first day, and farm for months and months and months. Oh but pvp and stuff! Go do trials. Keep yourselves busy with... Yourselves. Ughhhh.

Don't lose sight of the fact that we are "cash cows" and bungie is the farmer!!! The main objective of any corporation is to increase profits so just realize whatever is said tomorrow has been hashed out in a corporate meeting with that one objective in mind. Has anyone else considered that the last shot of the reveal teaser video is a shield on the ground? Shields & axes alongside the swords we already have. This could be interesting.

I hope this is not "same sh*t different theme" and have a bunch of thing we can explore not like april update that finish just in a week. And hope pvp got a new thing to play, since trials only got doctrine to die for. (New cool rewards pleaseee)

No vex. As one of the references says, fallen [b]mutants[/b] scavenge the Golden Age wreckage. Which is in and around the city walls, which a part of collapsed. My guess? Those where mutants who breathed Earth's air and lived, yet with horrible consequences. These Fallen then saw the open wall as an opportunity and attacked. Lord Saladin may have been that guy with the cloak. And I bet the Iron Lords fell to these Mutants.
