Oh yeah, forgot I switched to that...
Looking for those funny stories of Guardians that forgot they switched subclasses or guns and then went to use them and had an epic fail.
I personally have dove in from the sky on a control point harboring 4 opponents to bubble them and proceed to face palm as I was then used as a punching bag.
Activated my super as a hunter expecting golden gun to come to life and kill the two Guardians from a good distance away...what happened was I blade danced my way to them, made it about half way after standing there for a few seconds shaking my head to myself.
Edit: Hilarious stuff guys, loving it all as we have all been there. Sure it may not have been funny for you at the time, but looking back you can't help but laugh.
Edit: Pretty sure if this was a poll, FoH/bubble would be winning.

Suppressor bounces off Warlock and falls off the map. Bang head against the wall as I wonder why the f*ck that was even on in the first place.

8 RepliesVertigo Last night Playing as Titan (I am new to Titans) Popped through the warp and was greeted with a slap from a warlock. A shotgun shell and melee to her noggin left me grinning. 😀 I actually anticipated that she might use her self-res. I stayed back and watched her ghost... Waiting... Resurrected! I was already three steps ahead of her. I had the perfect spacing to place my Bubble, leaving her outside of it with no place to go. In my head I had already placed the bubble and was preparing *challenge emote*. I was going to taunt this poor little sunsinger and send her screaming into the void. Then I Fist of Havoc and she watches as I flail on the edge of the platform before succumbing to her flaming touch... Her reaction? *facepalm emote* Priceless

I've been running gunslinger most times I play crucible lately. For iron banner though, I take all 3 characters up. I've tried to throw so many throwing knives on my Titan lol I can only imagine what I look like from my enemies point of view

Doing y1 NF and went up to the boss to shotgun the boss so I could resurrect but when I died I couldn't come back and the other guys died. Yesterday doing the winters run strike. I was on my hunter my friend was on his hunter. He's like ill get first tether I'm like okay his tether ended so I went to shoot mine. Jumped In the air a little bit and used my super... [spoiler]bladedancer....[/spoiler]

Went to pop a Titan bubble on top the sister platform to damage the second sister. Ended up throwing hammers at her.

A whole team was on a capture point and I jumped up to launch the perfect Nova Bomb, and then realized I had just recently switched to Sunsinger. They just all shot me and I died pretty much immediately.

I hadn't played in a few days, hoped on for Iron Banana, in my first match, got my super, and was going to rain firey hammers of death until I fist of havoc'ed nothing...then died! I had to laugh!

Jumping over the chasm in vault of glass woth the vanishing platforms, thinking im blade dancer to activate my super n spam melee across to the other side. . I active... My arm shoots into the air and a bright Golden Gun appears.. My charcater falls straight down to his death FFS

Ive jumped real high to throw a tripmine onto a group of enemies, only to land at the same time as the explosion goes off, killing 2 enemies along with myself.

I do it with my hunter and jumping around ill forget i dont have triple jump or something and try to make jumps and in mid jump panic and fall to my death.

Go to do an aerial FoH and plop down a bubble instead... Not even AoL its got WoL on. Death from three enemy players coming soon. Pop super to run around the corner with Suncharge and pop FoH with none around instead... Taking enemy fire while taking a zone and pop WoD...i mean Sun Breaker with no over shield. Died.

The funniest thing we did was when we're on golgy challenge. Two of us brought titans for the weapons buff, one as a back up in case our supers weren't charged. First guy pops his bubble, instead he has flaming hammers... we laugh and I quickly run over and blam, I fist of havoc the crap out of the flaming titan... man that was funny.

I had defender in trials...thought I had striker on. We were in heavy round...Piped my bubble and thought I had striker :(
