Sick of ToM
I'm sick of people kicking or not letting you do raids if you don't have touch of malice and/or black spindle I've done the raids before so screw off

If you do raids a lot why don't you get the best raid weapons? There's not much else to do in the game currently... finish that ToM quest and the Spindle strike.

3 RepliesAlthough I agree they shouldn't kick you for this reason but touch of malice is an extremely easy weapon to acquire, it takes not even an hour to get 45 fragments so your just being lazy. As for the spindle, the mission to get it is easy but you might not be on when the mission is up so I can't really say anything about that.

Not gonna nerf the gun the [b][u]specifically[/u][/b] built for the sisters and oryx encounters, if that was the case it wouldnt be 8-9 months later. The gun has 2 encounters its useful for and doesnt get used almost at all in any pvp. The ToM is easy to get and can do the raid part in a normal raid. If you play destiny and do raids then you want the most effective gear that shortens the time it takes and helps your teammates the most. Put the time into the game and dont be a filthy casual.

Just wait till they nerf ToM, then the bitching will stop, I scout rifle isn't worth that much work imo, way to kill the originality of the game when your entire team has the exact same gear as you do. I just skip those posts, build you're own raid fresh, it's not hard, I have an actual life outside Destiny and can't expect to be max level and have all the best gear (what's the point of rushing through a raid if you already have all the best gear anyway, seems kind of derpy to me).

Any group that requires a specific weapon is a bad group to join in the first place. Although, I would say Black Spindle is extremely useful to have. That or Sleeper Simulant. Use those guns on bosses and you'll be okay. I don't care about King's Fall so I don't do it. I am not compelled to get Touch of Malice. But if it was something I wanted to do every week, only then would I make the effort to get it.

3 RepliesWe all did the raid without ToM in the beginning but it does help. Why not complete the quest? Is it to hard for you or are you just lazy? Both weapons are equally obtainable through quests and missions. It's just up to you to put in the effort. I bet you were that guy bitching that asking for Ghorn wasn't fair because it was RNGenius so now bungie makes it a quest line and you still bitch. Start your own FT. State your requirements and play how you want. Stop worrying about everyone else. I'm going to bet you have less than 10 completions without those weapons.... I have 130+ KF completions. That's why I use them!

9 RepliesI think it shows lack of commitment and skill at this point if you dont have a malice. If you wont waste your time to get a weapon most have had for months and months why should anyone expect you care enough to try during a raid. 5 months ago i might have agreed. But now it signifies more of a freeloader or noob if someone doesnt have one by now.

You know what is much more rewarding than doing the raid??? Grinding to get Touch of Malice! Seriously, it's a really cool gun, it's not that hard to get. Just get the public events app and it will give you a list of all fragments, where to find them, and even videos showing you how. As for the Spindle, every time that is the daily you should try it. It's more intense than any strike or nightfall, and the gun is a great gun. Don't complain about it, do something about it.

I've completed that raid all of 1 time man, I only did that to do the challenges. Plus, if you've done he raid, get the Touch of Malice! You have literally zero incentive not to do it, it's really worth it, melts bosses.

3 RepliesUnless I'm a Titan in the middle, I don't even use ToM when at Oryx. I use Red Death while in the shade in the event my health gets low and the ogres don't really need much help from plate people.

2 RepliesNever use it. I got it always have my own Loadout. If some 1 asks for it. I usually say or show the weapon and say i don't play with it. Cuz in the end i still do more damage Then them. ToM is only a must for scrubs.
