Haven't played in quite some time, PCMR now, and the occasional console exclusive (Uncharted 4) but over 500 hours for $120 worth of game was more than enough, I may start back up for a bit if that new raid at E3 rumor is true...

-blam!-. Yes. Anyone who says otherwise is trolling. Or if they're legitimate, the game was never going to appeal to them anyway.

2 RepliesCandidly? I feel as though I have not gotten anywhere near as much original content as almost any other game I have ever played in my life. I feel, that pound for pound, as money goes, I have completely wasted my currency here. However, I do still play. And I still do pay. But it is not because of the game, or its players. I have invested so much of myself into this game off of faith and sentimentality of Halo; that I find I cannot let go anymore. Trapped. Suffering, as a gamer. If I have gotten my "moneys worth", it is because of my own corrupted will and twisted ambition to give false hope to this game. The game has not paid for itself. I have paid for myself. I have reaped a benefit of countless hours of torture and suffering, bound into a single number. 5000. That is my grimoire score, my steadfast dedication to a failed game I thought would be my favorite of all time. I am a battered wife. I have a second shitty job. Does it feel like I got my moneys worth? Absolutely not. But I could be worse off. But I play for myself in this shitty red bar nerf -blam!--tastical environment. Peace.

Well, let's see, I bought the game for 60, gave me 3 dlcs whish sum up to around 120, then you sell it all together for 60 dollars. Way to f*ck over the year 1 dudes bungie. But I do feel as if I get my fair share of sh*t on my plate for what I paid. Definetly. All these great rewards that Shaxx throws me so I can keep grinding right. Thanks for everything bungie.

Yep for both the original and for TTK. No other console game has kept me this interested in playing for this long. Well, except maybe DCUO...I really did used to love that game but haven't played it in over a year.

Many times over

$45 Yup

Without a doubt. I mean in yr 1 for the hours I played the costs calculated out to be like less than 25 cents an hour or something like that even with the costs of the tv, console, and internet factored in. Probably even much less now. An incredible value all things considered really.

Edited by Irish Ard Ri: 5/19/2016 3:31:53 AMDefinitely. I played it a ton and still play, just not as much as I used to. I used to run Nightfalls and The Heroic Stikes (Tiger/Dragon Stikes were awesome). I don't even bother now, Nightfall rewards suck and are not worth the grind and Heroic Strikes are way too much of a grind as well. I mainly still play patrol, POE, and Iron Banner.

Compared to halo 5 and black ops 3, totally.

It's worth the money they asked for . Did I get the epic game experience they told me I was buying ? No. Not being lied to.... PRICELESS

4 RepliesEdited by NinjaMatic: 5/19/2016 10:51:13 AMSure, but were my expectations met? No. And before you say that my expectations must have been unreasonably high let me say this. Yes, they were, but they were as high as they were in large part because of the hype Bungie built up. It was a marketing strategy that worked brilliantly, but I think I would have been much happier with the game if I had approached it without any, or at least lower, expectations. All in all, I've played Destiny a lot... $/hour it was worth it, but if I'm going to keep spending money on this game I need to see WAY more in game story. Somehow I'm still hopeful. I think the fall DLC/update will be very telling.

Yes i believe so. Ive been playing game since beta. I put it down for 3 months and been playing every week since new spring update. This has been over a year of game play. For me its worth it. Very subjective matter i admit.

For sure
-
Did i get my money's worth? Yes but did i get what i thought i was paying for... not really.
-
Yeah. Still play it and love it. Best investment in gaming in a long time.

Compared to most other gaming purchases I've made, definitely
I do.
I play it at work so I can't complain
