At least have the decency to tell me what it is you want to do. Don't leave "Play Destiny" in the invite. Don't be that guy. I don't like that guy.

#Destiny

If I invite and leave it as is its cause either way you are doing the nightfall.
-
I delete the "play destiny" message cause I already specify in the lfg
-
If im in the tower or on patrols and im alone its because i want to be alone. If i am looking for a team or company i will go to the recruitment section of this forum or LFG.

2 RepliesDude. 10000000%. I hate that shit. Tell me what you are doing or looking to do or no soup for you.
-
10 RepliesIt's just as easy for you to look and see what someones doing
-
Yeah right? I don't join people without joining their party first.

Edited by SamSu916: 5/10/2016 12:02:31 AMThis. This is the exact reason why I ignore 98% of my invites. Unless it clearly specifies what they need to do, I'm not joining. However if it's dead obvious that it's a raid group 5/6 King's Fall Raid then something like that and if I wanted to do it, that would be the 1%. Another is if a good friend invites me to something then I join to help out. Other than that I ignore all of them.

1 ReplyThat's annoying. I got an invite at the weekend and joined a team of a level 17 and a 23. Started a strike and within 5 minutes both had left. What's the point ?
-
i never respond to game invites unless they send a message with it
-
Yes. That guy is annoying as hell. He's the guy calling your house from an unlisted number. Either tell me up front who you are, or talk to the answering machine. Also, don't send random friend requests to people in the Tower and the Reef. That's even worse. That's the game equivalent of walking up to a stranger in the mall and saying, "I like the way you dress. Wanna go out?" I might be willing to go to the court of Oryx with you, but until I see your moves, we're not going to be friends.

5 RepliesI get that from lower level players and my wife gets it from just about everyone. Normally they spam her invites till I send them a message with a deep voice saying that my name is bertha, they quickly leave.
-
so uncouth!
-
3 RepliesSame here. I'm willing to help out players but you have to tell me with what. Any player that messages me asking me to run them through NF I always do instantly. Just have to tell me what's up first.
-
I don't like it when people I don't know add me as a friend and then keep spamming mee with invites while I am playing another game or trials or whatever. Add me as a friend fair play, but please send me a message if you need help and I might be available to help out
-
If I'm by myself and I get a random invite in Tower, half the time I'll just join because why the hell not. I've made a few friends that way. Spamming, though.. Spamming will get you nowhere. The likelihood of me joining someone I don't know decreases proportionally to the amount I receive in a short period.
-
Sometimes I'll get a random game inv sometimes party inv. Never fails to be a 12- year old kid who wants a carry through the raid when they are 295-.
except one time where it was a group of kids who literally just wanted to chase each other around in the tower
-
9 RepliesAgree. Once I joined an invite to find myself booted because I happened to be on my weakest character.
-
2 RepliesEdited by KannibalKlown: 5/9/2016 6:58:10 PMYou think that's bad. Xbox doesn't require a message. So I just get "[NewbieX] has invited you to join his fireteam" Sometimes I say yes just to see if I can help. But then -- No talking. No response to texts. Nothing. Just "starting mission" and flying to wherever the the basic Devil's Lair strike. Like not even a thanks or "can you help with..." I leave immediately. If I don't know you then I'm not going to help a mute do something easy. If you talk to me on the flight in... I'll likely stay.
-
5 RepliesSome randoms do that to my gf mssging her to join without saying what for. She joins and then she hands over the mic and I start talking in my deep voice and then I get booted lmaoo
-
I promise to never invite you
-
13 RepliesI sit in the tower with all 335 gear and double exotics just to deny scrubs when I get the random invite.
-
I always spam out invites to everyone over 315 but I always put "CoE?" In place of "Play Destiny" I am not going to stop sending messages but I will put in what I am doing and only send it once to each gamer.
or bungie could make some way for guardians to meet up in the tower
-
I normally send a message telling the person what I want to do before I invite them
-
Nothing like getting invites because you are a female Awoken Titan with the Armamentarium on. I once got a friend request with no message or invite. I'm not that easy...
-
3 RepliesPlay Destiny Play Destiny Play Destiny Play Destiny Play Destiny Play Destiny Play Destiny Play Destiny Play Destiny Play Destiny *Join Party* "What did you want?" "Oh just doing bounties, thought you might want to join me" *Turn off mic, sigh, do bounties*
-
I keep getting onto my kid for doing that. But he hasn't played Destiny in over a week.
