If you shotgun rush...
You're bad. People need to learn how to use their primaries more than their secondaries. I myself use Chaperone, but at least it's more of a precision gun. Most people in pvp shotgun rush, shotgun camp, sniper camp, or spam grenades. I'm not complaining, but I do think crucible would be more fun if there were more 1v1 engagements and less waiting games. In all my pvp career, the best players I've played actually utilized their primaries, almost not even using a shotgun or sniper, or fusion.
Moral of the story; you have a primary so please use it.

You will get my shotgun first. I don't use a shotgun as a primary unless it's my remote. And since it's in the primary slot I'll use it like a primary. I use it in self defense from shotgun rushers.

1 ReplyUse a Chaperone. If you don't land the headshot chances are you're dead because of the proximity to your target. The Chaperone is what a true shotgun lord carries. Sadly, I remain in apprentice mode.

3 RepliesNot hard to kill some one who is moving in a straight line. I suggest you practice a bit more with a close ranged primary. I suggest TLW, Hawkmoon or Doctrine with CB. You will get there guardian, things can get frustrating but remember if you keep at it you will be able to kill them fine.
