If you shotgun rush...
You're bad. People need to learn how to use their primaries more than their secondaries. I myself use Chaperone, but at least it's more of a precision gun. Most people in pvp shotgun rush, shotgun camp, sniper camp, or spam grenades. I'm not complaining, but I do think crucible would be more fun if there were more 1v1 engagements and less waiting games. In all my pvp career, the best players I've played actually utilized their primaries, almost not even using a shotgun or sniper, or fusion.
Moral of the story; you have a primary so please use it.

People who have more special weapons kills than Primary, they're the bad ones! I don't care if you Shotgun, Snipe or Fusion just as long as the majority of your kills come from primary weapons!

1 ReplyAh, well I actually like being in the middle of a fight rather than sticking it to the back. I'll keep at a distance with my auto-rifle, but if someone on the other team starts getting in my personal space, you best believe you're getting a shotgun-melee til you're out.

My deaths now are all from shotguns, melee or a sniper body shot. So long as it's not a primary I won't be killing by it.

I haven't used a Shotgun in PvP since TTK came out, tried it today for the lulz. It honestly brings such a rush of adrenaline, so much more fun than having colonial style shootouts all the time.
