If destiny was real...
... Humanity (humans, Exos, and Awoken) would quickly die out. Our human nature, as these forums clearly demonstrate, is so -blam!-ed up. We're so divisive amongst ourselves. In the spirit of competition, elitism, and bigotry, we're willing to weaken each other's weapons and abilities.
But most people who read this don't seem to care enough to change that about themselves. Typical humanity

1 ReplyIf Destiny were real, the Guardians if you recall were cherry picked by ghosts looking for the best of the best of dead humanity. So if you are a whiny negative person you'd probably just stay dead, most guardians (lore wise mind you) are noble and heroic. Also we interact with so few non-zombie NPC's so who's to say humanity hasn't become better? Perhaps the city is a lush and thriving place.

Actually, if you study history, once you give us a common enemy, we band together rain down hell upon those we call our enemies. If Destiny was real, I would be more worried about where to take a piss on the Dreadnought without getting Taken or thrall trying to crawl inside my body, lol.

Right? I remember talking about if people evolved into having wings and other, idk, weird shit. It was a super boring day at work. Any way. I made the point of how that would be the end of humanity.
