Seriously, every single Warlock nerf poll put up was at least 80% against nerfing.
Warlocks are decent in exactly one -blam!-ing game mode and before anyone accuses me of it affecting me, I play a Titan.
But it does affect me because my competition gets shit on and it makes winning easier for other classes. When did the point stop being about learning your own weapons and abilities, learning maps, learning strategies and become about lowering the bar to let people through?
If this Warlock pass is nerf city, it's a freaking joke.
Oh, and Jon Wiesnewski hates fun.

3 RepliesI'm a titan. The so called nerfs that I have had to deal with since year 1 have been a pain. Warlocks haven't exactly been nerfed but buffed (or left alone, same thing really.) This being said I use to believe the warlocks should have been nerfed 9 months ago. Now after reading up on updates and forum ranting I've decided to go with my original stance from year 1. Quit nerfing and buffing all characters classes and weapons. Wait. Let me rephrase. BUNGIE! YOU CREATED THIS GAME. STICK BY YOUR PRODUCT. Giving in to all the whining and crying about OP weapons and supers shows me that you (BUNGIE) lack a spine. Grow a set. Restore all characters classes and weapons to there original state and let us destroy the cry babies. I want to force them into submission. I want to make them run to CoD or division or whatever other Shitty game they want to run to because they don't deserve to play destiny

Where is this 80% statistic coming from? Also, Bungie has stated that they nerf things based off their own data, not from the community. Whether you choose to believe that is a whole other story.

3 RepliesThe game is well balanced at the moment. Seriously this meta rotation shit is getting old.

6 RepliesLet's just accept it, PVP has caused almost every single god damn nerf... ~TheOkayNike

6 RepliesLol 80% of the playerbase doesn't come near this cesspool of a forum
-
4 RepliesSeek says he's a warlock. Lol. Does less than 5 days total play time qualify?
-
Stay tuned as the devs have been to the lighthouse over a hundred times. Dropped over a thousand nukes in CoD. Creamed the Overwatch closed beta. And know fps better than anyone else.

3 RepliesPart of me thinks deej's tweet, cozmo's presence on similar posts, and the fact that they're doing this stuff on stream means they might pleasantly surprise us.
-
I am just scared it will make warlock from the master race to lesser manservants....
-
I've killed many a storm caller. It's not OP.
-
We all know the whole thing getting hit is viking funeral and transcendence.
-
Bump! I own two warlocks and I dont want this nerf cause itll screw up my pve experience. I could care less for pvp. Sick of bunige ruining PvE cause a few whiners came crying to forums

Edited by DizzAce: 4/6/2016 3:34:33 AMMy biggest concern is how these changes will affect PVE. To nerf offensive supers that are already incredibly weak in PVE even more will be a travesty. How many gunslingers do you see in PVE? Void walkers? Strikers? Sunbreakers are barely useable and the only viable offensive super in PVE is Stormtrance and to see it nerfed even more will truly display Bungie's lack of understanding of PVE needs. I don't feel like "Legend" when my void walker takes away 1/3 of a single major's health in PVE. Buff supers in PVE!!

These nerfs for crucible are getting out of hand. It's ruining the whole game. Part of what made this game fun was how powerful the character felt. The weapons you gained as you moved up were outstanding. Now we get crap from raids that reload when you stow them. From primaries with burn, optimized stats and the best perks to... It reloads when you stow it. And now whole classes are being changed. The more they water the power down the less special the characters feel.

59 RepliesEdited by HELP1NG HAND: 4/8/2016 12:22:35 AMI can't see how Landfall isn't OP. I just can't understand the argument that its balanced. You have a Stormcaller performing a Striker super attack, only it exhausts no super energy to do it and is instead only the opening move of a whole different super attack. So is the Striker in FRANTIC need of a buff? Or what? I play as a Defender, so I tend to look at a super's destructive power in terms of how easily it can bring down a Ward of Dawn. (Its just my view of the Destiny universe) And from where I'm standing, Landfall is completely f%#&ing broken. Strikers and Voidwalkers must exhaust their entire super to inflict enough damage to destroy a Ward. Bladedancers, Sunbreakers, and Gunslingers can bring it down with a little more energy to spare. Normally, the Stormcaller fits well within this standard, reasonable balance of power. But with Landfall, they (and they alone) exist completely outside of that balance. Landfall will destroy the Ward every time just by activating the super. None of the actual super even needs to be directed toward it. There's no counterplay, little warning, and a whole enemy super to deal with once the Ward has been simply erased. Its entirely different from EVERY other super attack in the game, and takes the balance of power seen in supers and throws it entirely out of the window. In my opinion, the perk seriously shouldn't just be nerfed -It should rather perform some completely different role.

1 ReplyAs cozmo hinted at, Do you really think all the static generated by this community is why they make these changes? Of course it hints at where the designers should be looking but these changes are happening because of internal play testing and data collection which is obviously painting a picture that the subclasses aren't balanced effectively yet.

6 RepliesWarlocks and their OP burn grenades are OP, in the current state of the crucible hunters are really bad and warlocks are really good. There needed to be some rebalancing

Edited by TheSecondVoice: 4/6/2016 2:45:59 AMTheir not gonna stop until this game is unplayable, from everything I've read and seen the PvE update looks awesome, I like the chroma stuff, I like the new armor and shaders, the strikes and PoE stuff looks really cool but I have a feeling their gonna undo all the good things with nerfs! The warlocks are gonna get it, that's a given, stormcaller is probably gonna get it hardest but sunsinger is gonna get it too, even thou the firebolt grenade has been exactly the same since day one, they've nerfed everything else so hard that now it's one of the few things that hasn't been touched so it's on the block. I'm not much on PvP(it's awful no matter what)so as long as they contain the nerfs to PvP I'll be ok with it but they never do, they ALWAYS spill over and that sucks cause it's gonna make me not want to play this game anymore. Dark Souls 3 comes out the same day and a Division dlc so if bungie's nerf hammer ruins the update at least I'll have something to play. Oh and I'm sure we can kiss the mida goodby too, and prob 1K Yd stare!

When weapons and super used to be well you know SUPER:) meanwhile the team and bungie are making new and good content this April they are bringing back PVE and we will get no new maps old weapons from year one witch should not have been taken out no old raids been bought toward or old strikes missions and some more NERFS we need buffs lots of buffs and buff my favorite weapon the fusion rifle I am sick to death of Nerfs for PVP you should have separated the dame PVE and PVP from the beginning would be a grater game and I love destiny just tired of the NERFING start to buff buff everything and if someone crying for a nerf tell them to learn how to play better it is part of the experience:):):)

1 ReplyIf Warlocks take a huge hit I will be forever angry and switch to Hunter. I love warlocks and wish the best for them just as I have for every other class that has been nerfed.
-
6 RepliesThe titan changes were awesome. Looking forward to the warlock changes. Especially the Voidwalker buffs.
-
1 ReplySo were -blam!-ing titans. But nooooooo we got hit super beyond the intended.
-
All i hope they do is reduce the ammount of time Stormtrance stays active.

Edited by EclecticRevolver: 4/6/2016 12:22:13 AMConfirmed you main a Titan so for sure the warlock nerf doesn't affect you but you still fight against the nerf. Unbiased indeed. These nerf lovers I tell you............

19 RepliesDecrease storm trance super uptime in the crucible, remove damage over time from the crucible. Leave PvE unchanged, problem solved.
