Here's the problem with the April update
We have to wait another week for it. That's the only problem.
It's amazing to me how entitled gamers have become that they're complaining about a FREE update. I, for one, am extremely excited because PoE is my favorite PvE event in Destiny.

4 RepliesNo, here's the real problem with it. That date April 12. I would get on and play but here is a list of the other things that come in on April 12. Fallout 4 update. Ratchet and Clank. The biggest reason: Dark Souls 3. It will be awhile until I get around to Destiny again.

The problem is it lands the same day as the Division update. I'm excited for both but only so much time in the day & my friends list will likely be on the Division.

Yes, I agree. The game is not perfect, but I like it. There are things I would like changed, but, I enjoy the game as it is. I am kinda surprised so many people are bashing the next update without even playing it yet. At the very least, try it BEFORE you complain! I'm going in to this with an opened mind, and fingers crossed.

The only problem I have with it is it comes out with 4 other games and updates I want to try. Fallout 4 workshop dlc, Dark souls, division update, destiny update. [spoiler]I apparently put them in the order I'm going to play them also. Amazing.[/spoiler]

You are right. They don't understand the difference between QUALIFYING for a FREE update and having "already paid for it" [wrong] Some of this confusion is Bungies fault for trying to defend MTX with the statement about the money financing future free updates. This confuses the entitled into believing they already paid for this update. So they also don't understand the difference between what they paid for (TTK, an Emote) and how Bungie chooses to spend that cash, which is Bungies business only. They are not entitled to whatever Bungie spends that on. They have no stake etc etc

3 RepliesWhile I am excited for new content and it being free is certainly a bonus, I am not sure it's enough to bring me and other lost day one players back to destiny. The only reason I am willing to check it out is because the game market right now is stale. Don't get me wrong, this game was great and I certainly enjoyed my time, but some of the decisions made (not going to get into it, that list is to long and for another thread) have left me a bit sour. Had I not played since day one and came in around HOW or Taken King I feel I would have weathered this storm a little better. For now I'll check out the April update with an open mind and very little expectations. Shit, maybe Bungie will surprise me, but I am not holding my breath.
