Have the Xbox destiny players been brainwashed to think ps exclusives are ok?
Why are no more Xbox gamers protesting against this or even acknowledging the ps exclusives? Sure they might be not the best weapons but so many people still want the exclusives and for some reason the gaming industry does not shame a company for selling out to a certain console. Xbox and play station gamers payed the SAME price for the game, so we should have equal content.
Play station exclusives in destiny are by no means right. ANY exlusoves for a game that is cross platform is not right Infact. This new sniper really opened my eyes towards this. As an Xbox player why should I keep supporting a game that doesn't even bother supporting my console?
If anyone is typing "You guys have halo STFU" think about that argument. We both payed for destiny so we should get equal content. You guys didn't have to pay for halo. And since your arguments are simply "halo" I could just say "blood borne stfu."
Exclusives that leave out players who then might quit should not be a thing in a game that is struggling to maintain its fan base right now.

Who really cares? When Xbox 360 had exclusives we didn't petition for PS3 to have the same treatment as us did we? I couldn't care less about some black iron banner armor, a map that PS players hate so I'm glad it's not in my rotation, Jade rabbit which I wouldn't even use and a Sniper which no one is going to use because Legendary snipers are already god mode (LDR, Longbow, 1K stare, Stillpiercer). Unless this Zen Meteor sniper has Trueseeker as a perk then no one is going to use it in place of a last word, MIDA, Truth etc. Let PlayStation have their moment. Sony paid for it, Microsoft didn't.

I play on XBOX and unfortunatelly, microsoft is not paying Bungie for the exclusive content. Not really Bungie's fault there. PSN pays extra for the content, so Bungie, a business, sells it to whomever is willing to pay for it which happens to be Sony.

I mean they did say destiny for year 1 well have exclusive and sony sorta had a deal with destiny, knowing full well I still purchased an Xbox.

Go play better games. If you don't want to support them doing that then why play? There are plenty of newer great games out go buy those instead

7 RepliesLook at this objectively for a moment. Microsoft elected to not pay for exclusive content (they don't need to rely on a game title for advertising). Roughly 10% of the threads on the forums state "Destiny is dead" or "______ will kill Destiny". With that said, why would a world renown company throw money in to a "dead" game? If you're playing on a console that you were given / gifted, be grateful for it. If you purchased it and are unhappy with it, try to be a better informed consumer in the future. In either event, please, stop the conspiracy theories and stop WHINING!

You do realize that the best protest you can have in this regard is to not purchase the game on Xbox, right? Crying on these forums won't get Microsoft to pony up like Sony did.

Personally I think exclusives catering to either side is dumb. The console wars in general are a dumb tactic to increase sales and customer loyalty. The only ones that I find slightly ok is the titanfall and tomb raider one. Titanfall because without it titanfall and titanfall 2 might have not been possible. Excited that the PS user can experience an even better one. TF was a blast but too bare-boned. Very game-preview-esque. While the ps user never received the first one, the one they get to play will be better all around. I could only imagine if I would have skipped the first one and dropped straight into TF2. Tomb raider for the same reason. I played through most of the first one and haven't really even bother to finish it or the 2nd one but glad that the game could exist. It was really well done. It also allowed the game the chance at being made and now is able to be played across both major consoles. The old fans and new fans might have never seen it had it not been funded to e an exclusive. Bottomline is that Microsoft had a big part in screwing over the xbl player base as well. They didn't want to buy the exclusives most likely due to them being butthurt over bungie's decision to leave. Exclusives aren't always bad, but in game exclusive are an old tactic that should have died out a while ago.

I'm not alright with it, but I'm not going to go on digital strike because I can't earn the Echo chamber warlock gloves or because I can't earn that sexy jade-rabbit. I can wait, I don't mind, well I do mind, but I'm patient, as long as we get it before it becomes obsolete, that would be nice. I'm envious, true, but it doesn't mean I'm going to become a fanatic and say so-and-so is ruining the game.

How many times must it be said. It is [b]Microsoft's[/b] fault. Bungie offered up the weapons to both companies that were willing to pay. Sony offered up the money to get the exclusives, and Microsoft didn't. End of story.

Unfortunately that's just how business is, I am on Xbox, and I would switch to PlayStation if it wasn't for the fact that I wouldn't have the old guard shader.

Lol i dont think this guy knows what marketing is. Even if we complain, nothing will happen. I doubt xbox looks at the forums and Sony has already made a deal with Bungie. Complaining will get you know where.

We're not ok with it. But the decision has been made, money has crossed palms and we just have to live with it. Yes we've been lied to by Bungievision but hopefully our protests will have helped future changes.

Well there's not much we can do about this. This is a Bungie/ Microsoft issue and we as players don't really get any say here. I hate it but it makes me want to get a PS4 even more , plus I have more friends playing PS4 nowadays. The only reason I would buy an Xbox One over PS4 is pretty much just so I could keep my gamertag and some game data to transfer over (like Destiny and GTA)
