Why has this community become so salty?
Why is it there a meta and should the meta be followed? If the meta was not created by the ones using guns or builds, according to the forums the need for bungie to use a sledge hammer of a nerf would be less likely; Just use what you like to use rather than what people tell what is or isn't good.
P.s. This was more of the point i wanted to try and get across, rather than the banter i had written before. I apologize for the brainless gibberish.

3 RepliesPersonally I think the problem with weapons in destiny is that there are [b]too[/b] many. There's one of every type from each faction, each raid, PoE, the Queen, vanguard, crucible, IB, and trials. With so many weapons a meta is going to happen, you simply can't make every weapon a viable option. Then when people cry about a weapon the nerf the entire class. The real issue in vanilla wasn't auto riffles were OP. It was the other weapons sucked. Same with fusion vs shotguns. They're constantly nerfing entire classes of weapons because not or two models. I think a solution would be weapon progression combined with forge. You get a common scout from the gunsmith. Use it, it upgrades to uncommon. Use that it upgrades to rare. Then you take it to you're faction, crucible, vanguard, brother Vance, or variks and the make it legendary and change how it looks. Then you can take you're shiny toy to the gunsmith and role for the perfect perks you want. Not a perfect system but I think it would increase weapon diversity in terms of what's used. At least then each guardian could "create" their OP weapon and not grind forever for one. You'd still have to do "endgame" content to level it to max light of course. That's my thoughts anyway. At least then there'd be no more OMG that weapon is OP [b]nerf[/b] it!! Exotics will still be OP of course. They should be though. They're F[b]u[/b]cking [b]Exotics[/b]!
