The First Curse
So I finally got First Curse this past Wednesday. I was told if I hated imprecation then I would hate First Curse so I just ignored doing it for months.
They were wrong. Imprecation can't hit the broad side of a building but First Curse? The thing is a beast! I'm no crack shot since I play on a high sensitivity but I'm hitting 70% of my headshots and loving the way it handles. Feels very similar to Hawkmoon. In my opinion.
I recommend knocking this quest out and giving it a shot. It's better than that ridiculous tester they make you use to get it. Much better.
Edit: I'm starting to think First Curse lovers are my kind of people. You guys have provided the best conversation I've ever had on these forums. Thanks for your tips.
Edit 2: Man things thing is beastly in the right hands. Have yet to do bad with it. Used Mida in a 6v6 inferno then ran same game mode with TFC. Better results.

It's a pretty fun gun. Has the best sound of all Hand cannons! I kind of went flawless with it three times this weekend if you count switching to GoP and Doctrine. Anyone else notice it's screen picture looks a lot like the last word. I know a few times in-between rounds when switching my load outs i accidentally switched to the last word to be disappointed when trying to fire ADS lol.

29 Replieswhich crucible mode did you use to finish the imprecation quest? I have tried them all, even came up to 6 precision kills in a few matches.... could never seem to get the 7th before the match was over.... I absolutely suck with this hand cannon, but I really want to finish the quest

Yeah I heard a lot of feedback about it being really low on the board when it comes to Exotic hand cannons but I really really enjoy mine! I'm not a high RoF kind of person

Same here. Stay on target though or pay for your misses. Like the gun though and your right. Imprecation is as bad as that hand cannon the gunsmith gives you to test. Imprecation nothing like First Curse. First Curse to me is a hand cannon specialists prize right now.

Also if I can't hit the head 3 times I do one body shot and 2 headshots, so I don't feel disgusting after getting two headshots and seeing that low health if I die

I had a feeling that it was good but harder to use which is why there are mixed reviews as to whether its good or not. Maybe it is really good and has a skill gap? It technically does have the best stats compared to the other exotic hand cannons, i was always curious about this. This would make the most sense...and makes me happy. Good day sir.
