This is how me and probably most of the community feels.
Edit: thank you guys so much for the great ideas we have rolling! Maybe bungie will actually listen if we get enough bumps.
Edit: people being salty because it is triple wreck or because they just don't feel like being happy. We can all have a calm conversation and talk like normal people.
Edit: all the points are great! We all agree destiny could be better and we want it to be better
Edit: some people don't understand the point of the video.
Edit: on Twitter bungie announced new matchmaking on Wednesday!! Yeah!! We did it!

A working game and some communication. That's all I'd really want. But he's right, playing the game is a choice.

4 RepliesSome honest truths there, i feel sort of the same way started playind COD for a bit woth friends for a laugh mainly cant do that in crucible anymore people are to concerned about KD's they constantly are using the weapons that wreck at the current time... People will say use that weapon but maybe i dont want to u want to try and use the Legendary i got the other day or even a Rare or Common weapon that i like the look of. Just frustrates me that i love this game but need to keep taking little breaks because i get to cheesed off with try hards using the meta or the current lag or broken parts of the game in its current state.

Bump, the last minute basically sums it up perfectly

Edited by FantasticMrFox: 1/24/2016 2:25:08 PMIn some ways, there is self interest from you tubers, as skill based match making is making it harder for them to do their montages of kills against poor players, but, he has a valid point on the overall impact of skill based matchmaking, which has been universally bad for most people. There are two core issues. One, every game is sweaty as we are all hearded towards a 1.0 kd or 1.0 average win ratio, I actually much preferred not knowing what the game would be like before I entered, but I get some people have a different view. Two, it's absolutely knackered the connection quality for just about every game. I honestly rarely saw lag a few months back, now it's a given for every game, which is criminal ,and must be pushing their user base lower and lower, leaving just the diehard sweaty players, so it's now a vicious cycle. The solution for me is go purely connection based, but have a separate ranked game mode with some element of skill based match making so people who want sweats can do it and know who is best. Maybe even Bungie could publish league tables based on this mode so there is no doubt who the best players are. Either way, the way this new match making has been brought is completely untransparent, and highly negative for most people to boot. It's all such a shame as I really do love this game.

5 RepliesThe best thing about this how calm and logical he is. He makes good pints and isn't a dick about it.

I remember back in year 1 when we ran into each other in IB. We only tried to kill one another. Back on topic he said what others and I had said for the longest time. Yet the negative part of the community tried to keep us quiet 1984 style. I whole heartedly agree with him especially with his last point putting the nail in the coffin. Bungie, he and others were supporting you. If your biggest known player post a video pointing out your issues this late in the game, it is time for you to fix it.

Well said

Really good video that tells the truth about how everyone who's not an entitled millennial feels about this game

Edited by Taxi AL: 1/24/2016 2:19:05 PMInfuriating. Exactly the words I would use to describe my experience with Destiny over the last couple months. Sad. Not fun. A community game that keeps me coming back because of potential and the community; then it reminds me of the suck, and it doesn't take long to make me want to put the controller down and walk away because I'm so frustrated. This video echos the conversation of nearly every player on my friends list that is still around...(< %25 of what it was). Bungie knows. What Tripple is saying is not just a message from the youtube elite, it's anybody who is playing more than a couple hours. It shouldn't feel like a chore, and it shouldn't punish you unless you are asking it to.

Bump. So true.

I took a little break and came back just to mess around in crucible but it's just horrible now. This game is dead to me. I dont understand how bungle could destroy what this game could have been but the lies and deceit about everything! 0.04% chance of me logging on to this game again.
-
I don't think anyone could have summarized it any better.
-
Bungie has went down hill fast and don't listen to any if us!!! ACTIVISION'S PUPPETS!!!
