Remember when this played in orbit. Those were the good old days.
Edit 1: Trending? Wow. Honestly, this song STILL does play in orbit and in the Tower, but you have to wait for at least half-an-hour to hear it. And, you're usually in another game or playing another activity by then.
Edit 2: This goes for any game: The music makes 50% of the gameplay.

RIP Year 1 :(

This is what Destiny sounds to me every time I boot it up. The song from TTK might be good but it's up at the same level of this one. Marty did a fine job, shame to see he's no longer in Bungie
-
Makes me remember when I logged in Day 1, when legendaries and exotics made you get excited to play the game.
-
Reminds me of the Beta and Vanilla. I still love Destiny i just think Taken Kings lacking.

I want this back I remember my main being level 9 or so and doing Telthor screaming "LIKE A GOOD NEIGHBOR TELTHOR IS THERE!! I was scared shitless when I first saw him. I also remember the times I would explore the cosmodrome with my friend, not knowing what would happen. This song gave me that feeling there was more out there, things we have yet to discover, when I did Phogoth I though it was some ultra badass who protected great treasures...

6 RepliesThis song was definitive destiny. It gave the game a certain feel, that identity that feels like we're in store for a lot. Now it's BOOOOOOONNNNNGGG *KINGS HORN* and really threatening sounding
-
I used to love this song. Why did they make a new soundtrack? This is Destiny's theme song!
-
Those guys help animals get better, we're not astronauts.

The nostalgia is real. It feels like a long time ago I heard this song

4 RepliesWho all has heard the Paul McCartney song that was written for Destiny? Sometimes you can catch it on the Jukebox, but the only other place I've heard it was when you roll the credits from the director screen. It is the last song played during the credits. Why they commissioned a song from McCartney, that was only to be found in the credits, IF the player decided they wanted to watch all the credits, is beyond me. When i heard it it was Vanilla Destiny, before TDB and the Jukebox. I don't know if Credits have changed with DLC's.

Miss it!

I miss this...

Very rarely do I ever listen to music other than the games soundtrack. The soundtrack makes it more immersive.
