Christmas Noobs STAHP playing iron banner!!!!
Seriously people! Level advantages apply in iron banner, same as trials of osiris. So when you go in with your 241 light (happened to me just now) and your rare blue weapons you are seriously screwing your team right in the ass. RIGHT IN THE ASS! This isnt regular crucible where you can do that dumb shit. So stop making people hate you as soon as you start playing your fantastic new game by STAYING OUT OF IRON BANNER!!!! At least in Trials we can choose our fire team. In IB we just get stuck with these guys.

People play IB to have fun. They also play all other aspects of the game to have fun. If you are not having fun, then please find a game that you have fun playing. Why would people listen to you having a whinge?

I went into a game yesterday with my friend and we were using the lowest gear we could. He was light 25, I was light 48. Not only did we win, we both actually contributed. Maybe we didn't contribute a ton, but we did contribute. My teammate found out that the original sniper rifle, held by a light 25, can 2-headshot kill. Light isn't as big of a deal as people think in IB and ToO.

I went into a match as with 84 light just to mess with people because I was in a team made of only friends. I ended up somehow going even with 11 kills. Most of my kills did come from my sniper and my primary barely did any damage. I also wasn't the lowest scoring player on my team either.

At the end of the day, both sides payed for the same game. But both sides have the right to enjoy the game how they want..

1 ReplyWell. I finished a match that had a 221 in a four-man fireteam of 310s on my team. He cleaned up a lot of kills somehow. He did better than the worst player on the other team. Oh, and we won. Not to say it's something everyone should do. They'll find themselves at an obvious disadvantage.

I don't have any guardian that is at 300 yet but sometimes I do pretty good... Maybe they just aren't skilled yet cause the game is new to them

6 RepliesWell it really is the only viable option for them to get some higher level gear cause let's face it nobody is going to let them into Kings Fall... I don't mind it cause they need the gear.. Hell there are veteran players that cause the team to lose.. I'm all for the newbies learning and getting their gear even tho it is frustrating at times... Welcome Nooblets!

Just take the round as a Medallion of Iron and leave the lobby. Unless you play with a fireteam you just have to accept your randoms as they are: random.

Its Bungie's matchmaking system at work. It matches the light levels of your teammates with your KD.

I just restarted my account over on ps4 and got my hunter to 275 light. Went in to iron banner and the three games I had were great. One I got 24-10 with the most captures and top overall score. Some people just came from other consoles. And if they are new, good for them for trying.
