If Cauterize is gonna be on a cooldown, so should Hungering Blade...

Please tell me why it shouldn't if you disagree. Edit: When I made this post I was already taking into account the other changes SB's are going to receive. When the patch drops all these reasons people keep posting will change. So pretend the patch is out and all those changes are in effect, now tell me why hungering blade should continue to heal without a cooldown while sunbreaker's will be unable to.

  • Cauterize can trigger on long range. (Grenade, hos) Hungering blade can only trigger on melee range.

      Only reason necessary is Hungering Blade requires an up close in your face kill but Cauterize can be triggered at range, significant range. Oh and 16 second super vs. 23 second super.

    • Melee range vs projectile range is the major difference. Super duration is the other one to consider (you can duck and recover between kill with more time in super). Just my thoughts. I'm sure we'll understand better when the update drops.

    • Sunbreaker: Hits a dude with hammer from long range despite missing (huge aoe + tracking) *gets healed* Bladedancer: Hits a dude 3 times before he dies because hit detection is garbage *probably dies to shotgun melee, if not gets healed and is subject to getting destroyed again* You can one shot people with a hammer during their nova bomb casting or one shot a guy self ressing, at least the other super needs two hits.

    • Hammers are thrown from distance with large blast radius. Hungering blade requires a rather close range attack and sometimes multiple swings in order to activate. I'm ok with it.

      • 2 swings from blade dancers for it ti registrr as a kill, doesnt last long, and easy as -blam!- to kill. Git gud and stop. Or us as the bitchy community that we are will nerf sunbreakers to and even lower standard. Mwahahahahaha

      • You have to be within melee range so it's a huge risk/reward.

        • Hunters are up close and personal with their Arcblade. They have to chase down targets that are most likely running away from them while getting shot and hoping they survive that shotgun to the face. With a bladedancer I can't get a kill turn around and immediately chuck my blade at the guy shooting me from across the room. Hammers have range and it's pretty much that simple.

          • Hungering blade doesn't heal off grenades and isn't going to proc off of a range. Cauterize is all flame perks, grenade, melee, and hammers.

            • Because hunters are up close and personal supers with blade dancer. So Instant health regain isn't that bad.. Where as a Titan can throw a hammer half way across the map when he is one shot, kill someone and regain health. That's why it should stay the way it is. Honestly the sunbreaker didn't even need a nerf. People just need to learn to understand it's called a SUPER for a freaking reason....
