Please tell me why it shouldn't if you disagree.

When I made this post I was already taking into account the other changes SB's are going to receive. When the patch drops all these reasons people keep posting will change. So pretend the patch is out and all those changes are in effect, now tell me why hungering blade should continue to heal without a cooldown while sunbreaker's will be unable to.

Not only that, but Cauterize activates on grenade kills while Hungering Blade doesn't. In other words, HB required melee range and had a cooldown while Cauterize didn't require melee range and had no cooldown. Your version of the ability was outright better than ours. Now they're about even.

When I get health regen on grenade and melee kills like Sunbreakers, then maybe we can talk about a cool down, until then just stop crying

HoS is ranged and arc blade requires up close encounters (minus razors edge). Cool down opens up more builds by utilizing other perks. Arc blade isn't what is used to be, go watch eltryhard compare year 1 bladedancer to year 2.

Because hungering blade doesn't work for grenades and killing someone in arc blade is literally the easiest thing ever they deserve the health

4 RepliesHungering blade forces you to be in melee range of everything you kill its high risk high reward. Hammers can be thrown across the -blam!-ing map and explode while also healing zero risk and way to good of a reward thats why it needs a cooldown and hungering blade doesnt.

Ha ha this post made me laugh. Any1,who thinks throwing a hammer across the map to kill some1 or having to get really close to stab are the same thing. Well they need to be lead outside a shot 1ce in the head

That feel when you're crying about Hungering Blade when you can heal off nades,melee,and hammers . To top it off its a 2nd tier perk and you don't have to sacrifice anything for it. Damn near all BD best perks are 3rd tier excluding Quick Draw. Plus we have to make actual trade offs

Yeah I'd take that...providing it regens as quick and they fix the hit detection of blade dancer, plus we still wouldn't have the health buff / damage reduction you do, so on second thoughts no. We either should get the same or you should take your very small minor adjustment as it is.

It's because of the range that the hammer of sol has I do agree that it should have a cooldown since there are many situations where range doesn't matter but that's up to Bungie to decide
