There's honestly something wrong with arc blade
Almost half of the hits do not connect the way they used to, why is that?

Also the reason Mask of Third Man doesn't seem like it does much anymore is because we have to constantly swipe extra to compensate for the possibility of our super not doing its job and that's really depressing! Haha

1 ReplyAs a hunter since the beta, I cant GUARANTEE there is something wrong with arc people. Just slashing the air when the enemy is jumping is not cool. And some times, you hear the "zap" sound of the blade meaning that it did hit, but the guy doesn't take any damage.

1 ReplyAgreed. Takes me 2-3 hits to kill an enemy giving them time to shotgun then melee me. I always trade these days. Hardly ever get multi-kills anymore.

In PvP I've had to use showstopper so at least if my slash f**ks up I can use a mock Titan smash to finish someone off. In PvE however I don't even use the super for anything other than invisibility and picking people up. That is when I actually played. If Bungie would get off their butts and fix it that'd be nice, but then again they recently bragged and dragged out the Titan balance notes... I don't expect much from Bungie anymore.

Yeah, played bladedancer recently and it takes a few hits to kill. A shame as it's my favorite hunter class. Also the duration is pathetic compared to the new supers. A few extra secs on with the mask of the third man would help.

12 RepliesYeah, they do seriously need to fix it. Because it's been a huge issue ever since 2.0 launched. Arc Blade is garbage now. There's literally no reason to use Bladedancer over anything else anymore. The only thing that subclass has got going for it is QuickDraw & a watered down nerfed ass Blink. That's it. They shit all over arc bolts, doing 71 damage .... Doesn't even take your damn shields down, ridiculous! I understand the 122 was a lot, but 71 AND shitting on the range / chaining capabilities..? It's ridiculous. & now the super ... hit detection seems virtually nonexistent. [b]especially[/b] if they're midair. Using Arc Blade now is literally just asking to get yourself killed, by anything...it shortstops right in somebody's face, & before you even have the chance to swing again you're finished... That subclass used to be one of the best, both in Neutral game & super...now, it's just plain old trash. I really hope they fix it ... Bring arc bolts up to like 90 damage so they at least hurt your shields...take away some of the visual effects of Blink. FIXING THE DAMN HIT DETECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes played a few salvage matches this morning with blade dancer although I went well its damage reduction needs a bit of an increase not to what it was originally but more than it is now or leave that and give them ionic blink to help close the gap let's face it normal blink was nerfed to much to compliment this super. Yes sometimes a strike from blade dance doesn't seem to do any damage even in a good connection match the class as a whole needs some attention
