4 RepliesI was addicted. It seemed not able to put the game down. Mostly because of the friends I made. They all quit this game. Hopping on and shooting the shit with people you like was fun. As far as a stand alone, long term option, I think Bungie killed this game with its constant "oh! you like that? well we are gonna remove it. You like that? Nah, not enough grinding involved. so we are pulling the plug on that too." So, really what you had was a great game as far as bringing players together . But sooner or later you have to expand the game. A ship to explore wasn't much of an expansion . IMO, and this is just one players opinion, Destiny's monotonous nature only works well if the gambling like atmosphere continues. But Bungie removed the excitement of receiving cool shit. That's what made it interesting. A player got something cool and it made the grinding fun with friends. But now, if a gun or piece of armor is unique, it is nerfed or changed. I'm glad lots of folks still enjoy it . I'm just bored.

i quit my addiction, with passages malibu. im an addict i should know. you too can break your destiny disc and let go of the chains holding you from playing other games and remembering what video games were really like. call 1-800 passages malibu

That's not fair some people enjoy it and that's their preference. I personally don't enjoy the repetition anymore and prefer something that challenges me, but that's my preference. Now, people who are actually excited about having to grind for the exact same gear for a third time now, those people might be borderline.

I used to say that. But realistically, I played for the social side of the game. I used to love playing crucible or raiding whilst having a laugh with friends. I've recently stopped playing ps4 almost altogether now...
