What moron at Bungie decided that was too many?
Just proves how petty Bungie has become it really is pathetic.
Luckily the average went up to 26.8 which makes absolutely no sense at all.
Ok so now Bungies way of fixing the weapon part debacle is to charge glimmer. Better than nothing, I guess 25000 glimmer for 10 weapon parts. Who knows, but I expect a glimmer nerf and a ghost nerf.
But on a side note
Deej said his boss can fit 1656 weapon parts into his rectum.

2 Replies26.8 A DAY READ CORRECTLY

It's getting so bad that I saw some guardian swallowing the gun smith little light for some weapon parts. Rough times out there guardians.

Over 600...... On each character

I've still got 3750+ but then again I haven't played ttk

3 RepliesEdited by Pennsai: 11/5/2015 11:06:13 AMUnfortunately the average is way off, I have around 1100 so that means that nearly 44 people could have 0 and it would be that average...just for myself. I know there are other hoarders out there with numbers like mine that simply skew the numbers

400+ still

I use mine to rank up factions.

Ive got over 700

6 RepliesEdited by janen06: 11/5/2015 9:55:47 PMThe fact that the GUNSMITH doesn't sell WEAPON PARTS is beyond me. Screw all the other dumb ish like telemetries and ammo packs. He should sell WEAPON PARTS for motes, glimmer, exchanging armor materials, etc. As part of the November update, we’re authorizing Banshee-44 as your Weapon Parts dealer. He’ll accept Glimmer as a form of payment.

Edited by boff: 11/5/2015 11:25:12 AMWe didn't infuse in year one so 26 weapon parts would upgrade 1 weapon up to max level...based on 5 needed per skill tree node and there being 5 nodes Now in year 2 to take a 280 weapon up to max light we need to use about 75 weapon parts. 10 per infusion, let's say 5 infusions and 25 to unlocked the skill tree perks. So in year one we had enough weapon parts to upgrade to the max 1 weapons or at least In year 2 we don't hold anywhere near enough weapon parts to level up 1 weapon up to the max... stats mean shit...bungie saying we have more weapons parts on average than last year, but the truth is we need more in yr 2 because of infusion....we need more but they nerf the drops. Sure some people had thousands, but surely that would of declined naturally without a nerf because of infusion, the thousands people collected were from year 1
-
Agreed 26.6 is clearly not enough parts you can't even fully up an exotic with that. They should allow for armour material to be swapped into weapon parts.
-
All these cod players, not used to such grinding. Try getting cloud to level 99 in the Shinra building on disk one on FF7 :)

4 RepliesI stay at around 500 and i infuse all the time. Idk what this shortage is people having

1 ReplySaw a post "sign here if you have 1000+ weapon parts" That says alot for the average...
-
2 RepliesMy toons have plenty of armor engrams drop but very few weapon engrams drop. I estimate the ratio is 4:1. Utter disappointment when pick up another engram which is armor, AGAIN!

Edited by ace2bme: 11/5/2015 10:10:13 AMIn 1dayI got 9 weapon parts. Decrypted them and 7 of them turned into motes and coins. I farm the court and I get mostly helmets and gauntlets that are 266 blue. The weapon parts I always delete because they are so low a light level. blam!- this stupid game I am off.
-
I have 3 accounts. 1 I play on, two I started for YouTube (but gave up because you try doing a let's play with -blam!-ing weasels and marrionberrys and shit as well as idiots in your game world) My main account has 16 weapon parts. My other two have none. So that's an average of 5.3 weapon parts per account. Because Bungie don't take into account secondary/tertiary/duplicate/inactive accounts.
-
I have about 20 weapon parts across all three characters I've been suffering a drought since HoW reforging. I spent alot reforge particular gins to characters different play styles, which now bsolete...we'll I can use them in crucible but now I've deleted half of my vanilla gear which suited to those weapons and now have to forage all over again. That's what you call bullshit.

1 ReplyEdited by GENM: 11/5/2015 9:45:43 AMAre you short on weapon parts? If so, that would be amazing with your grimmoire i assume you have loads of them;) i have so much i have no clue what to do with them, kinda like wormspore:)
-
3 RepliesDon't understand how people have so few weapon parts... During HoW I was always re rolling weapons and have infused loads during ttk.... I have over 3k weapon parts and have never farmed for them...
-
It makes perfect sense that it would go up very slightly, because more people are noticing the rarity and are collecting and holding on to them more because they are now harder to get a hold of.

4 RepliesThe fact that people have so few weapon parts is astonishing to me, i mean, is everyone upgrading every single piece of gear they get or something?
