If you make TOM a requirement for oryx (normal)...
Your a bad player period I recommend anyone that sees posts requiring Tom and a ridiculous light level to avoid even applying to join these type of players. They are usually the worst, know it all type and most Whiney of players. A raid is never fun with players like that. So do yourself a favour and don't join them.

If people want a quick 40 minute run they'll ask for it. Plenty of groups that don't require it.

How about you set your own damn group up and quit bìtching about it Either get the ToM and you'll have no issues or deal with the consequences of not getting the gun (which is practically handed to you)

I avoid anyone with no exception requirements. They don't have a brain and they aren't going to be able to play as a team. Big example for hard mode is requiring the spindle. I have one, don't mind it, have even recommended it to players I was raiding with, but to require it over something like 1k stare is just plain ignorant and I will not play with people that raid based off of beliefs instead of facts.

3 RepliesMy squad runs normal then hard mode. We run normal mode the same way we run hard. The reason we request you have TOM is simply so we can determine that you have made it through normal mode and spent a little time to follow a guide and grab the fragments. We have yet to run into a player with a TOM that couldn't handle them selves in normal mode. As for hard mode we have different requirements.

I have ran the raid with 285's with no touch or black spindle that still kicked serious ass. Hell i ran normal on my 283 hunter with a black spindle and still out performed half the team XD its all about how compitent you are in raid

Lol 4 our of the 6 people on my raid team have ToM and don't even use it during the raid. It isn't needed for normal.

13 RepliesHere's the issue now that it has been out for a while. Given 2 players of equal light level, one with ToM and the other without. What player do you send a message to on LFG? If you said the under armed player you're a liar or a saint. Get some friends, start a group and pug the rest if no one wants you for a run. Easiest way to bypass LFG requirements.

I only use it for daughters, makes it easier to kill them in 2 rotations

Even in hard mode it's not needed especially when you run double orb method

I dont always use mine. Some roles are easier with other exotics. I just like to have a couple to help stagger oryx

Hey I only recommend it for normal, but you need as many as you can get for hard mode. And it's mostly helpfull for daughters and oryx.
